I once went on a vacation with my family to Italy 🇮🇹 and i was really amazed with the structures i saw, The unmentioned factor is that everyone works hard. They have had an unbelievable work ethic. The pioneer generation were given a good opportunity by an intelligent government, but they worked hard to improve themselves. Another unmentioned thing is the significant economic pressure on working families.

50 out of 50, I think I've never seen such a spot-on collection of tips for travelling in Italy.

Congrats for the gelato tip.
I was just saying this to a friend of mine last week but I thought that was a super niche thing to know or realise:
NEVER get a gelato from a shop that displays you the flashy gelato flavours. NEVER.
Normal Gelaterie keep their gelato hidden - never displayed- and have it of mild/natural colour .
And this is also one of the reason why I really cannot find decent gelato outside Italy (living abroad). They are all usually not good. The whole set up is usually wrong (and receipts)
