Mercedes never have the stand up hood emblem and grille emblem.. if you want factory classic look you have to change grille to one with no emblem

This method doesn't work for the 2002 MB ML500 and may some others also. Why? because underneath the badge is the hood locking mechanism.

Hello ! I went to the Mercedes’ dealer and they said I can not swap the flat emblem with the sticking up hood emblem due to it would be crooked and not fit…for my cla 250… are they lying

97 S500 hood emblem was stole and it was the flat one. But for my hood their was no hole left only two small holes from where the emblem set in. Still not sure how they took it off the car was just setting in the yard.

It doesn't work for all the models CLS W219 has different fitting.

My dream car is a Mercedes E Class! I’d love to have the standing hood ornament since I may never be able to afford the S class.
