Fascinating. It looks quite simple but I'm sure it is not. A wonderful movie. The attention to detail. The colors and the music are so emotive. It transports you to another world.

Wtf I just keep saying it as I watch this. Cate is amazing - I keep going back to that start of the dancing bit, and just look at her. The way she really watches what the instructors do, and how her feet are so delicately placed on the floor- how she fumbles with her hands as her gaze is still on watching the instructors - how she moves away from that concentration to break into a smile into the usual Cate we see in interviews and fun stuff. Then the next part after the instructor - Todd Haynes start directing Cate and Kyle (Harge), and Cate is just... exquisite? Look at how she stands tall, angled ever so nicely curved, feet still poised on top of the other, eyes still in concentration until she moves back again to a more uh closed off / innocent look and it's just the rehearsal, and still she can show how elegant she is - while we all know how great of an actor she is -and how comedic she is as a person as well.

Just amazing.

Dans ce film il y a une grosse erreur pourquoi Thérèse dit à Carol qu'elle a envie d'elle ! je n'y comprend rien ! gros dilèmme, rien d'étonnant que Carol l'ignore à la fin, j'adore Carol Blanchett mais pas Rooney Mara
