It really is a shame that Hamon still doesn’t have a presence in Jojo at all anymore.
While yes, stands are awesome and can make great creative fights with powers thematic relevance to the narrative.
When was the last time you ever saw someone actually struggle to understand their stand (with the rare exception like Koichi and his evolution). There may still be ingenuity involved but they still just instinctive as oppose to learned, or earned.
Where’s the stand equivalent of young Joseph’s training at the pillar?

While i know part 3 Jojo is often considered a Jojo at his prime, Jotaro being the face of Jojo even after his part, i feel a bit annoyed when the creators moved away from Hamon completely. I know Star Platinum, Golden Experience and Za Warudo are just insane powers to have but Hamon is a sick power. Young Joseph literally destroyed the alphas of what Dio part 1 was.
