Sad news! The actor who had a role as Dumbledore, Michael Gambon, passed away today at age eighty two. 😢
ОтветитьIt's a shame that Sir Richard Harris passed away before completing all the movies. It was pitch perfect casting.
ОтветитьThat’s my Dumbledore
ОтветитьRichard Harris was the best dumbledore RIP ❤
ОтветитьMichael Gambon truly did a good job with Dumbledore, but Richard Harris was always more realistic in every way. He is meticulously neat, while Gambol’s is more shabby and lopsided. He has a voice that suits a man who is over a hundred years old, and the ‘shrewd old man’ aura that Dumbledore was supposed to have. Besides, Harris played a gentle, grandfatherly Headmaster, while Gambon played a rough, serious one.
Over all, I personally would have preferred to see Richard Harris playing Dumbledore throughout the series.
RIP Richard Harris man he was the best dumbledore ever hands down. The closest version of the books to .
ОтветитьI like how instead of bluntly saying to Ron "Mr Weasly, if you wouldn't mind leaving i would like a word with Mr Potter in private" and making Ron feel excluded, he gives Ron an inportant task to grt Hagrid back.
Guy had a heart of gold.
Harris was better than Gambon if I'm being honest. Harris had that 'wise old man' feel that Dumbledore should have, and that he originally had in the books. Gambon you could argue was more suited to the later films that he played Dumbledore in because they were much more intense, with more intense action, and he was a bit more suited to that side of the character, but some aspects of his Dumbledore personality were not faithful to how Dumbledore is in the books, especially in Hogwarts scenes
ОтветитьAh, Sir Richard Harris... You were a brilliant Dumbledore. Your old, raspy voice held a quality of some sort of ancient wisdom through your words as though your mere speech alone was a spell cast upon us all. If only you had lived for a few more films. RIP (Gambon was great too of course)
ОтветитьHarris's Dumbledore would have been far more effective for the reveal of a dark, flawed past with Grindelwald since he seemed so perfect and wise.
ОтветитьJanet and harja and Maria and Caroline and Kayla and Denise and Shaina
ОтветитьIt always made me a little nervous how Harry grabbed the sword on the blade without any protection. Knowing that it absorbed venom from the basilisk in Deathly Hallows makes this scene more nerve wrecking.
ОтветитьDumbledore’s speech to Harry sounds like what Yoda told Anakin.
ОтветитьDamn, Fawkes is one strong bird. Carrying a grown man, two 12-year-olds and an 11-year-old.
ОтветитьSorry but that's Oilver Cromwell
ОтветитьDumbledore enabled the hell outta these lil criminals😀
ОтветитьI like how, the moment he sees Godrics name inscribed on the blade, he realizes that he truly does belong in Gryffindor.
ОтветитьMiss your direction, Chris! ❤
ОтветитьI love this scene. Even though Dumbledores not being fully honest with Harry
ОтветитьHogwarts legacy may take place long before this, but Dumbledore’s quote would still be relevant to our character’s story. We have a unique ability to manipulate powerful ancient magic which already makes us stand out from the other witches and wizards. We have the option to learn dark magic, not to mention the traits that ultimately put us in our houses. That said, it doesn’t automatically determine if we’re a heroic or dark wizard/witch. Harry had some of the same traits and abilities that Voldemort himself has (particularly parseltongue), but he didn’t use those for evil. Looking from that perspective, if we do choose to learn dark magic, it won’t make us evil just like that. Whether we’re good or evil will all come down to how and why we use said abilities further proving that Dumbledore was right: “it is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices”.
ОтветитьR.i.p Richard Harris he was the best Dumbledore not saying Michael Gambin wasn't good he was exceptional but you can't beat the original.
ОтветитьMichael Gambon did a good enough job as Dumbledore, but I really wish we could have seen Richard Harris for the 7 movies Dumbledore was in (he didn't really speak in DH Part 1)
ОтветитьSo if a Slytherin wanted to save the world it would be tough luck because the sword only shows up for Gryffindors?
ОтветитьLockhart: "Amazing!!!! This is just like magic!!!"
Ironic considering he's a wizard. He really has lost his memory.
Những sáng tác của Sỹ Luân nghe mãi ko phai.. Phúc hát rất hay và ấm áp
ОтветитьI wonder what Harry and Ron's awards were. I don't think it was the cancelled exams because those were really for the entire school and not specifically for them.
ОтветитьThis video has taught me something
ОтветитьAlways loved the bond Harry and Dumbledore shared, it is like family.
ОтветитьIf this was Gambon this is how I can imagine this scene: “YOU BOTH REALISE OF COURSE THAT IN THE PAST FEW HOURS YOU HAVE BROKEN PERHAPS A DOZEN SCHOOL RULES! AND THERE IS SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE TO HAVE YOU BOTH EXPELLED!”
ОтветитьSeriously I love Dumbledore, and this interaction between them both was so beautiful honestly❤️
Ответить“Voldemort transferred some of his powers to you … and made you a horcrux”
“A hor-what?”
“Uh, nevermind, you’ll find out when I’m ready for you to be slaughtered like a pig.”
“WHAT?”
“I said you’ll find out when you’re a seventh year”
Dumbledore looks around the room nervously
How do you accidently give someone your powers when you try to kill them?
ОтветитьI like this Dumbledore.
Ответитьwhen I die and make it to... wherever it is that we go after death.. i secretly hope heaven looks quite similar to Dumbledore's Office :)
ОтветитьYou both realize, of course that in the past few hours, you have the job I and my staff should have done months ago.
Ответить“Tell me Harry why did the sorting hat put you in Gryffindor?”
“Because I asked it to.”
“Exactly Harry, exactly, which makes you different from Voldemort. it is not our abilities that show who we really are, it is our choices.”
-Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter.
I love that saying, and it’s something that I took to heart, people can be good or bad but that’s not for others to say, it is not our appearances, or other peoples opinions of us that matters, or make us who we are, it is our choices.
