I guess I’m in the minority, I have no clue what IVs and EVs are I literally just did type match ups, and with the addition of fairy it screwed up my normal strategy with Cynthia. Wish they would’ve taken that out.

I actually liked the elite 4. It was a nice challenge compared to other elite 4s. I beat it on my second try after not having healing items

I honestly don’t know why people are upset that they didn’t add Platnium features.
I mean, they didn’t make an Emerald remake or a Yellow remake or a Crystal remake, so what made people think there would be Platnium features?

I hope for one day they will give us a remake of Pokémon platinum.

In my shining pearl play through I've found every available fossil aside from a skull fossil. I've found helix, dome, old amber, root, claw and shieldon's fossil(sorry I forgot it's name) many of which I obtained before the league but didn't bother reviving until after the league as all of them being rock type Pokémon would leave them at a major type disadvantage at that point in the story. Directly beneath Oreburg city is a fossil hotspot in the grand underground for anyone interested in finding fossils they don't have yet. Also I caught a Houndoom in the grand underground before Fantina's gym battle, to my suprise it didn't have a Pokédex entry until I obtained the national Dex in the post game.

1 thing I miss from Pokémon platinum that BDSP doesn't have is Barry's Staraptor actually being a competent opponent in rival battles with him. In platinum he used to try and weakness the Pokémon you sent out first (like a first turn close combat on Empoleon) or if he couldn't used u-turn to switch safely, in BDSP however his first turn with Staraptor always was using sunny day for no apparent purpose as his fire type Pokémon was always sent in too late to benefit from it as the sunlight would fade before he sent it in, leading to Staraptor eating an ice beam from my Empoleon and being one shotted as predictably as clockwork. What a waste of game heritage and potential. In by the way platinum refers to itself as an extension of diamond and pearl on its original DS game case, so there should have been more elements of it in BDSP as platinum was the enhanced version of the original not just an extra legendary Pokémon and a new set of clothes like in BDSP.

if only this video wasn't filled to the brim with lies. it only makes him look like a fake fan for not liking these masterpieces. plus bdsp is 100x better than legends arceus/dissapiontment.

Gen 4 had some of the best "new" pokemon and this game was like "nah use a ponyta"

Well, it's a good thing I didn't buy this game, I don't want to waste my hardworking money on games that the programers or creators didn't care about in the first place.

The fact that a different company was in charge on making a famous game that they don't understand all that much is a red flag and questionable 🤦‍♀

I can agree with the challenge rating point. It's actually made me want to make a pokemon fan game that would be impossible to nuzlock just for the people that want harder pokemon games. Also fun fact your rival in this game would be Cynthia. She's not the champion of this new game, she's not the final boss, she's just your rival. And you're starter will be an otherwise broken legendary pokemon. Trust me you'll need it. The dex would consist of all the paradox pokemon and all the ultra beasts and all pokemon in ubers or just outright banned like Mega Rayquaza and I would include ultra necrozma as well. This game is designed to be insane beyond all reason. Built on the idea of "you wanted a harder game so heres the hardest game"

I'm glad they removed the traps in the underground because the traps were game breaking. Several times where I'm not constantly mine sweeping I'd get caught in a trap that would force me to close out my game and revert to last save.

I couldn’t get past the fourth member of the elite four and after probably 11 months I haven’t gotten back on. And before that I took a few week long break because I couldn’t beat the rival battle

the game all the way to the league are way to easy with the sudden jump in difficulty with the league sucks, and the rival is 1000X easer than the gen 7 and 8 rivals, i played casually and my Pokémon were 10 LEVELS HIGHER and were the same level when fighting the league. the difficulty of this game is horrid. AND THE TM WERE NOT INIFINET, WTF. they made the remakes of gen 3 have reusable tm but not this remake is so stupid. By far the worst Pokémon game in the franchise.

Here's what I think about the difficulty thing: make a setting for it.

TRAINER LEVEL: Opponents have minimum stats on their Pokémon and select their moves at random

MASTER LEVEL: Opponents have competitively solid Pokémon and use decent strategies to defeat you.

CHAMPION LEVEL: Opponents have competitively perfect Pokémon and use high-intelligence strategies to defeat you.

"some glitches are fine like using an exploit to clone Pokemon, but others break the game" cloning Pokemon breaks the game and don't try to pretend that that's not the case.

Is it bad I did not struggle with the elite four with this game

I seriously think they should have had the competitive stuff for the rematch and/or added 3 difficulties. Because let's face it, we have different pokemon players. We have new fans while also having old fans. And those old fans are different too, casual and competitive players. So yeah easy, normal and hard.

I wasn't a fan of BDSP, Pokemon just made a copy of the old games with a little twist in to it, and yet I wasn't happy about it... Hope the down ruin Pokemon black and white remake.

Sorry if I’m late but the problem is that this remake was made by a different company if someone else said this then you got it they tried there best but game freak gave them little to work with

Grinding is something a lot of people don't have a problem with. Also, if it's to hard they can just play Let's Go, or Sword, or Violet.

I completely agree with you on the Elite four situation.
While I did not have much issue going in with only two Torterra, a Breloom build for catching and a barely evolved Lucario.
I did end up having to PP stall Garchomp with my own supply of Full Restores.

The glitches are not as obvious as people would like you to believe, you really need to know how to preform those.
Unlike Scarlet & Violet where you need to safe your game after every major event, because who know what might happen next.
In my own playthrough of Brilliant Diamond, I did not experience any glitches.
Scarlet on the other hand, was a daily struggle.

I never finished the pokemon league in these games as that stupid Drifblim my switch almost went through the window so I deleted the game of my switch and sold my copies

I quit Pokémon BD before I got even close to a quarter of the way through the game because:
1. SO MANY DAMN GEODUDES IN THE CAVE, LIKE MY GOD, CALM DOWN
2. Even going the right way, it got too confusing for my brain that has ADHD

the game sucked terribly, and that's coming from a hardcore Pokémon fan that could name most legendaries, all mythicals, and ultra beasts with ease-a little trouble. They did something VERY wrong here.

You gotta be real, the buggyness of the games on release day was accurate to the original games

The 2 main problems I hate the most in BDSP and because of which I never played those games are the chibi graphic style and National Dex. They make no sense compared to previous remakes. For example in ORAS we have the same graphic style as in XY and the National Pokédex is extended up to Gen VI.
They absolutely should have put all Pokémon up to Gen VIII into National Dex and make the graphics look like Sword and Shield's.

Maylene was the most challenging gym leader for me to defeat in the remake.

I agree I beat the elite four then got to Cynthia her first two Pokemon kept killing me I ended up having to transfer Pokemon from other games, he is right when he says the kids until recently I never heard of EV IV and didn't see the importance of nature.
