3 AM Without a Face (Takes I & II) - Jonny Halfton

Recorded live (07.07.19) at Rock Club, B.I. in the hours known as "wee"... as the night settled, and guests exited the Show Room, I sat with my guitar in the pitch black and played what I felt. No fans, no lights, no people, no sheet music, no format, no external sound... strumming into the stillness; I started playing (the opening riff) and knew I needed none other than Alex Francois to paint on the canvas I was providing... Luckily, Alex was upstairs and only a phone call (To Tommy Noble) away. What you're hearing was the moment Alex and (his talented friend) Steph (Who played percussive shaker on this record) walked in on the darkness, plugged into the void, and spaced out. A full jazz improvisation (This song was not written, explained or formatted - this was both our first time ever playing it) touching on how it feels to be faceless.
