Ugh this whole argument over whether trump really believed the election was legitimate or not is totally irrelevant. Jan 6 was a crime - it is illegal to try and disrupt the certification of an election with an armed mob. It doesn't matter if trump thought the election was rigged. If he really believed it was rigged, there are legal ways to object to it, this was not one of those legal options. I can totally believe a bank screwed me over and stole my money, but if i go and rob the bank, i am still committing a crime and i am still going to jail. I dont think trump actually believed the election was rigged but it is irrelevant - the fact is he committed a crime of sedition and needs to be put in a jail cell.

There were allegations, but no actual EVIDENCE by the standards of the law and jurisprudence.
