I ended up destroying the tinfoil under the screen when trying to get it off. And the cost of a new display does not justify the repair.

Hi i have question ..is note9 and note8 same amoled flex

What does the smaller screen ribbon do? Is it necessary to make the screen work? I have a s9 that I want to try to plug the screen into my note 8 for a temporary fix until my screen gets here from China and the s9 only has one ribbon? Does anyone know if the ribbon will be the same length for my note 8 from the s9? Any expertise would be greatly appreciate!!!

Bought one of these brand new, ended up dropping it under the hood of my car and thought I lost it elsewhere long story short heard it making noise one day and found it sitting in oily water 💦 worked about a weak now turns on but the screen dead uuuug I was pissed 😤 now I got a iPhone 📱 12, but thinking I’ll invest in a note 20 next year to have since they not making them anymore and rather grab one before prices go up due to demand of them being discontinued …Never know might end up a collectors item lol I doubt it but you never know

Yeah.. so much shit just to replace my note 8's cracked glass and costs as much to repair as a new one, so i'll just keep it cracked and as a travel router lol

I have a question and i cannot find anywhere on the internet the answer to it.

I have a Note 8 (over 2 Years) and its...used. I have black pixels at the left top of my phone, tiny, and i have broken my glass. i want to switch the glass to a new one, but im worried that the dead pixels "grow" like you shown us on the GalaxyFold. its waaaay cheaper than switching the display.

can i do this without "growing" the dead pixels?
