Almost every words of jiraya sensai can be relatable to reality he was great the legend but his lagecy was teaching to naruto the Shinobi who brought peace in these world of hell

Naruto was right and Pain was wrong. Both Nagato and Jiraiya were similar in their world view. They were too passive to change things. Nagato was okay with continuing the cycle of hatred by destroying Leaf village. While Jiraiya preferred to be Pervy sage and not take on the role of Hokage. Even when he was dying, Jiraiya was despondent at the fact that he did not achieve anything great in life, like the previous hokages. Naruto was the one who inspired them to never give up in changing things for the better. Jiraiya only realised this when he remembered Naruto’s words as he was dying. Naruto did the same thing to Nagato later when he TNJ the person in front of hot Konan. Basically, Naruto instilled courage in both Jiraiya and Nagato — who were too passive to take risks and only relied on their godly powers to achieve big things.
