Mentally sane people don't stick needles in there arm, there some pain there.

How about when your a drug addict and your arrested, they should take u to a rehab first before u go to jail. It's in humane to put an addict in a cell and leave them. I've seen people when I was in county bounce there head off concrete on purpose to get to a medical detox. I've been an opiate addict for 25 years.

Really grateful to see and hear these stories. It helps bridge empathy. I hope this guy and his son will be okay abc that he will overcome this. 🙏💪

Im 23 and ive been an alcoholic for 10 years, and people think im exaggerating when i say that but when i hit puberty i started having terrible manic episodes and my mother didn't want to deal with it so she would intoxicate me so id mellow out and I got to the point at 20 I'd down a fifth and a half in a day, not remember anything i did and friends telling me i became 2 separate people that me while drunk had a vastly different personality and didn't remember anything sober me did and sober me didn't remember anything drunk me did. Theres about 2 years i just don't remember.

I was with him until he brought up religion. It's just another drug.

With over 300 million in the USA we DO NOT have the resources to waste on lumps of molecules like this. He needs to OD and clear space for a more promising individual.

I'm amazed how most of people don't see alcohol as a drug.

My husband way back when he was unmarried has committed adultery and he was also an ex heroine user!

When my mom was in a hospital in a coma, my uncle relapsed and started doing drugs again (he had a 1yo and a 3yo daughter at the time) and eventually my aunt got super mad, like wtf u have kids u cant be doing this and he stopped. I get that it's harder for some than others to stop but c'mon, if u really want to, u can do it

this guy looks very healthy for a junkie, i see some that are a lot worse

Drugs is like ogygen at some point your body is going to scream that we need it its the worst feeling ever

I was able to finally quit alcohol after 20 years of hardcore liquor drinking. Like a handle a day whiskey babit, only to now to find myself horribly addicted to cocaine. It never ends.

How about covering people like me who have been high since 2011 and haven’t lost anyone or anything due to my drug use? I’ve used hard drugs, soft drugs, squishy drugs, sticky drugs, you name it. Yet I’ve never been addicted by the DSM definition.
