ОтветитьThanks for the tips. I just bought a metal detector, was needing some tips how to use it properly and efficiently, your video helped alot. I hope you bought your camera lady some new glasses. Lol
ОтветитьThank you for this! I have my first ever metal detector coming Thursday and am going to record my unboxing in a video and then put my first ever hunt (in my back yard) on my new channel I just made. Not this one. Some of the stuff you said in this video, I had no clue about. I always pick up my trash and other people's as well.
ОтветитьVery new to metal detecting, this video helped me alot thankyou!
ОтветитьTip: if you don’t have a pin pointer just put the metal detector down near where you’re digging and grab the chunks of dirt in your hand and pass them by the coil then you’ll know if you’ve dug it up or it’s still deeper. Make sure your not wearing a ring.
ОтветитьSometimes I wonder if I should be digging everything since I'm a newbie..
ОтветитьBy the headphone carrie a cap is very good for your skin. Skin damage from the sun.
ОтветитьDan you bring it well, thanks for you tips.
ОтветитьJust subscribed, thanks for the tips.
ОтветитьGREAT ADVICE!
ОтветитьI’m confused by my metal detector. It was supposed to be a pretty good one but it’s randomly going off and doesn’t say how far down, so I ended up digging and filling holes randomly for a couple hours to have found nothing- except some screws and metal wires, but often times just nothing and I don’t want to just keep making the hole bigger and sifting through every bunch of dirt every time, especially when i did and didn’t find anything. Maybe my detector is just not as good as advertised or it’s screwed up? Any tips are appreciated.
ОтветитьMy first metal detecting find was a Victorian era Large Solid Sterling Silver Spoon. Later on the same day I found a Antique Gold & Emerald Ladies ring . Both found in my backyard. At the time I owned a Large Victorian era Home built in the 1860s . I finally sold it due to the expensive upkeep and maintenance costs. But I did find lots of older coins and a few other treasures in my yard while I had the place.
ОтветитьAll very good tips. I would add one more. Don't spend a bomb on a detector. Do some research and find a reliable detector that fits your budget. I have a bog standard Bounty Hunter Fast Tracker. No bells or whistles and costs about $75 new. I've found 2 14K gold rings and a Revolutionary War cannonball, all in my back yard. As you said, dig it all at first and learn what your machine is telling you. Thanks and all the best. Subscribed.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьYou're really pretty funny and did have good tips. That's great that your wife did the camera. I imagine you annoy her about half as often as ya make her laugh :) . Your a cool team and thanks for the help.
Ответитьone time i found like 10 soda cans that where really close to each other
ОтветитьWhat's your view on flagging? So you walk through an area obviously where there's not a lot of people and you stick little Flags in the ground when you find something you cover a larger area and after a certain amount of time you turn around and go back and dig those areas up?
ОтветитьEntertaining and informative!
Ответить5 minutes into my first time using my metal detector, 5 feet from the front steps of the air bnb I was staying in, I found a 1938 Australian penny. I had begun collecting coins a couple months before that and finding coins was the entire reason I bought it. Haha. Best of luck to everyone.
ОтветитьI have been a detestorist for many years now, thought I knew it all but surprise surprise I used your very important tip the last two times in the field and found a gorgeous gold ring on the first day. Went out again a day or so after that and found another gorgeous ring. They are both 12 -14KT gold with beautiful stones, one blue the other red. My wife now has two more beautiful rings. The tip that you spoke of is quite simply SLOW DOWN. Absolutely fascinating results. Who knew. I cannot thank you enough. You have changed my game in the field. I have my excitement and confidence back thanks to you. You are an asset to our hobby. Also, the amount of hits that I get now puts many more coins and jewelry in my pouch.
ОтветитьBeen out twice so far. Found a nickel the first time, and a dime the second.
Ответить⚔️🏴🇬🇧👍
ОтветитьFunny as heck!! Good video, thanks.
ОтветитьThank your for those 10 important feedbacks and for that great sense of humor!! I laughed a lot...I am just starting this Metal Detecter Adventure...will keep in touch...GRACIAS from Chile
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you
ОтветитьGood thing I live in a very wet climate so metal detecting is good for me
ОтветитьWhat if you live on the 5th floor of a flat. Bit presumptuous in tip 4 that everyone has a back garden to practice & dig in 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWe've owned a metal dector for over a year but never took it out. We bought a house in June of this year (2022).
Yesterday I promised my daughter we would play around in our yard with it today. Before I seen this video.
It rained last night. Sounds like this will be even more fun then we thought.
If we find anything good I'll come back n post about it.
good basic stuff just a bit quirky. good show mate
ОтветитьDigger Dan I'm from Minnesota and I have been detecting for 51yr I hope you don't dig with the shovel you have in your video I use a screwdriver
ОтветитьLoved your video.
ОтветитьOn my first try I found two gold Roman coins, (Costantino 280-337 dc,) (avgysto 69ac-14dc) after that i found 6 I Ching Chinese coins. I was about to leave when I got a beep, another gold Roman coin (gallieno 218-268dc)
ОтветитьI went metal detecting today for the first time in my back yard, I found two spent 9mm shell casings and a matchbox car.
ОтветитьWhat is a good metal detector? 😇
ОтветитьOut here expecting every beep to be something gold, still looking though.
ОтветитьThanks man. That was actually helpful. Subscribed
ОтветитьI found a spear and it’s in my room right now I removed the rust😁
ОтветитьLike tip number 5. The ground in Australia can be Ike concrete where I am and very hot. Love going out a day or 2 after a good rain
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you.
ОтветитьYour accent is so strong I can’t understand some of what you say nothing personal
ОтветитьGreat tips. The humour is great too
ОтветитьI literally found a gold ring on my first hit the second time I ever used my simplex+. A 10 year anniversary ring with 10 small diamonds inset.
I’m flabbergasted. It was yesterday.
