Roll in and Roll out Examination of Train While Entering and Leaving of platform

Roll-in and Roll-out activities carried out by Railway Staff for examination of under gear parts of trains. Railway staff / team sit both side of the track before entering and after leaving of platform and examine the following:
1. Broken parts of bogies,
2. Hanging parts in bogies,
3. Skidding of wheel in case,
4. Brake shoe released or not,
5. Broken springs,
6. FP and BP cock positions,
7. Dampers positions, etc.
Now days to detect defect in rolling stock, Railways introduces high-end cameras. By which inspection of rolling stock can be inspect automatically while entering of train at platform and leaving from platform.
