Thanks for having me on, was good fun!
ОтветитьGreat share! Fascinating era in Formula One!
ОтветитьThis documentary, highly detailed albeit sad at times, absolutely sets the standard for all documentaries - regardless of subject matter. Intensively researched, it is the definitive F1 history. Thank you, thank you, thank you Motorsports Madness!
ОтветитьGreat Video, thanks !!
ОтветитьThe driver trying to get the other driver out of his burning car, himself catching fire, running to the infield to put the fire on himself out then run back to the wreck and get the driver out... amazing, something that is once in a lifetime to watch. The man is a hero.
ОтветитьHailwood . Legend
ОтветитьIf all survived the race...boring.
ОтветитьSuch brave drivers to try to/rescue others. Wonderful gentlemen! Thank you for this series, well done!!
ОтветитьEs mucho el cambio en la seguridad de los coches en esta época los pilotos iban mucho más expuestos.
ОтветитьA lot of people probably do not realize this but.
Our cars run faster and better and more efficient because of racing technology.....!!!
Senna liderando
ОтветитьSo,prost didnt have a big ego then...😮
ОтветитьEven if Jackie Stewart wasn't knighted I'd still call him Sir
Ответитьsucks
ОтветитьSenna stopping and running to the car brings tears to my eyes🥺
ОтветитьBoth Hill and Rindt were incredibly lucky to survive those 1969 crashes in Spain, especially Rindt, whose survival was absolutely miraculous.
In the race immediately after it, Graham won his last GP - Monaco, for the fifth time, showing how quickly he was able to get over the shocking events in Spain. Rindt was out still injured. he didn't full recover for months.
Interestingly, when Graham had his horrendous crash in the Glen that year he was injured when being thrown out, because he'd taken his belts off a few minutes earlier to restart the car after a spin and couldn't put them on again without help. He was on his way back to the pits to get the car checked when the crash happened. For the rest of his life Graham strongly suspected that if he'd been wearing the belts when he crashed, the impact was such that he'd have been killed in the car.
Jackie Stewart tells a story about the 1966 crash.
Graham Hill naturally took all Jackie's petrol soaked overalls off, and, somehow, while he was lying there naked waiting for help, some nuns suddenly arrived from somewhere. (This bit is apparently genuine, I'll let you decide about the next one -
Jackie said that there were three nuns and, shocked by his naked body, they tried to put his overalls back on!
One of them, said Jackie, didn't know men had one at all (you can guess what). The second one knew men had one, but had never seen one. And the third one had seen plenty, but never one that big.
Pure Jackie!
What a special person Mike Hailwood was.
ОтветитьAmazing again sir! So tastefully done!
ОтветитьThis is probably a stupid question so to anyone reading please don't be rude. I'm genuinely curious and have tried looking up the answer, but what I've read varies.
I'm wondering why they don't close the cockpits in Formula 1 cars. I've read answers that said everything from performance to tradition - and even because the risk of driving without it makes the sport more exciting. Don't think any of those reasons sound more important than driver safety, though.
The only answers that sort of made sense were that it would affect their visibility and that they have a very limited amount of space, so opening a hatch might be difficult. It would seem like there should be some technology that could make it happen but since it hasn't I'm sure there's a reason.
I've wondered about this ever since I saw Senna's fatal crash, thinking he may have survived if he'd been in an enclosed cockpit (although I know safety has improved tremendously since then). I appreciate anyone willing to give me any more info.
Great video thank you
ОтветитьAmazing documentary. Chapeau!
ОтветитьThis was superb, better watch the others!
ОтветитьThis was obviously produced before Alex Zanardi was tragically killed during a wheelchair race about a decade ago.
His life story is the stuff of legends.
It was not the impact that knocked out the French Liger Renault driver Erik Comas, it was because the right front wheel bounced off his helmet, otherwise thanks for this video.
ОтветитьWhy do brits insist on pronouncing Aluminum Aluminium ?.....its NOT minium it's minum NOT minium !!....Sorry just a peeve of mine !!!
ОтветитьWow, looking more closely at Burti's Hockenheim accident, that Arrows driver got so lucky twice as both the Prost car then tyre landed so close to his head.
ОтветитьFahrer: Da brennt ein Auto!
Rennleitung: Weiterfahren, weiterfahren!
😂😂😂
is the clips that say @formula 1 from a movie or documentary they have up or whats that?
ОтветитьI live on the Isle of Man and Mike 'the bike' Hailwood has somewhat of a god status here. Him, Surtees, The Dunlops, Agostini, McGuinness, Fogerty and Hislop are woven into the fabric of the island. Their exploits are well known, so thanks for creating a fantastic series so that the younger F1 fans can learn more about the absolute warriors/hero's this sport was built on.
ОтветитьI keep coming back to this series everyday and ill never be disappointed in them.
Honestly, Didier Pironi couldnt catch a break and Ive always feel sad about his story 😢
whats the movie that keeps showing up when you talk about the old spa franchoshamps layout also great video
ОтветитьNext season, 90% of F1 team gonna have their CF chasis parts build in China to keep the cost down
ОтветитьThe Williams team was TOXIC, always a sneaky leadership from the top down. FACT ! This team killed Senna !
ОтветитьMansell was not dire at Ferrari
ОтветитьI was watching from the stands at the end of Hanger Straight when Mansell overtook Piquet, and got a photo of the two cars alongside each other.
ОтветитьHow about a video about all F1 drivers who have never had an F1 crash + any extra history before/after
ОтветитьProst should had never bought it, Ligier should still be racing today, Jo should still be alive through ligier but no, some guy decides to buy it and goes BANKRUPT
ОтветитьFwiday pwactice. hahaha geez man.
ОтветитьThank you for all your hard work putting this series together. It is excellent! I realize items of a visually sensitive nature must necessarily be avoided, but I don't understand why they are made completely blurry rather than being left out altogether.
ОтветитьImagine Ayrton Senna witness some of the worse accidents of his fellow F1 drivers like this, he can clearly foresaw his ill fated destiny and imagine that one day this fatal crash will come to him to take his life in which it was inevitably happened.
ОтветитьThe crash in Spanish GP with the driver Jack
Ickx should have been stopped EMEDENTLY,Thank God nobody was killed...
When you say "no injuries" is that like major one's cus surely they have whiplash like a motherfucker right?
I got whiplash from bumper cars😅 though it was very minor but it hurt the following day
Warner bros movie name???thanks
ОтветитьAnother brilliant episode. Very well put together.
ОтветитьYour video is very powerful
ОтветитьDo this but with the NASCAR series, lots of tragic incidents in that series
Ответить
