I remember first seeing the 'What the F**k France' videos back in 2017 when I was on my uni year abroad in Paris. They were so so good :D

When I was learning English as an exchange student in Baltimore decades ago, I would stumble around looking for the right word and when the person finally figured out what I wanted to say invariably they gave me a French word. After a while, I started boldly anglicizing French words and it worked 90% of the time.

Apparemment les comiques anglais sont aussi vulgaires que les comiques français.

I share the feeling I was born in France, but moved to Switzerland for 10 years then 8 in Ireland... Do I feel french? Not at all. But if I say Switzerland and even I went to school there my passport is not swiss (even if I have the permanent residency) am I Irish? Not at all, tayto sandwich shouldn't be a thing! My accent in English is defo Irish, it's shocking because I learnt English in west London! But in french my accent is swiss 😅😅😅 that's the beauty of a melting pot

Merci beaucoup pour tes sketches, ils sont géniaux. Faut voir le côté positif, apres tes 5 minutes en live sur canal+, tu aurais pu dire à Julie Gayet (sans savoir que s etait elle), que tu avais une valise pour aller la voir en scooter. Ou faire une blague sur Francois Hollande 😂

Absolutely loved the show, you're brilliant, Paul! The camera work however.. really sorry to say it was distractingly amateur.😢 Personal lowlight was side stepping through the bar and having the view obscured repeatedly by bottles.

Je te rassure, l'enfant Martiniquais on l'a tous eu a une époque mes 3 gosses ont eu leur période. A une époque je pensais être muté en Martinique, on était content, notre petite aurait de suite fait couleur locale !

I was confused as fuck about those 'anglicised French words' your mates said didn't exist, because I instantly recognized them as legit? And then that was the punchline. Guess the bit doesn't work on English-speaking people who have never been to England and thus have to actually know the language.
