We have cancelled our Swift Carrera 144 order, and gone with Consort Motorhomes, Debz explains why.

I think they well over priced anyway.

Just seen a Consort Oslo on the A65, between Settle & Skipton, don't see many on road ? How you going on with yours, we get our Oslo in just under 2 weeks (can't wait).

We picked up our Consort Oslo S2 in March, it gets better every trip, its functionality is superb. Great team at Consort, you've picked a winner 👍

Sounds like a good decision, our van 🚐 was built by a smaller family builder and literally cannot fault the build and the customer service has been exceptional 😎 Looking forward to the tour in the near future. Em 💜

We collect our Consort Cove 2 next week

It's positively a minefield out there with so many different makes & models & so many internal layouts. When we were trying to change our motorhome we wanted to buy locally but couldn't. We like so many other's were expected to commit without first seeing it other than in a brochure. It is a big ask for such an expensive outlay! Needless to say we travelled to a dealership three hours away because they had one in stock of the model we had been steered towards. After a phone call and the promise of not selling it untill we had seen it we set off. When we arrived we were duly led to the motorhome and left to have a good look around. Unfortunately the interior was too white and cutting a long story short we devided it was not for us. On the bright side we chose a different one, more expensive of course but at least we got to see it and go inside rather than choose from a book!

Good luck tomorrow. We’ve just bought a Devon Aztec XL but we love the Consort vans. The great thing about Consort is that the owners love to travel in campervans themselves so they just know what works. Thanks for sharing your experience.

You’ll love the Consort. We got ours in January this year and are so pleased with it. Fabulous company to deal with too.

Good choice guys…we visited Consort on Jan 27th, you’re gonna love the factory tour. We ordered our Reef S2 on a nearly new van that Scot got for us on 23rd Feb…a Boxer - 16months old, 11,000 miles. Scot told us it would be ready around 6 weeks later hopefully w/c 10th April…had our call last week and all on track…we collect on the 13th. Dealing with people who care, have the personal touch and build quality puts them a cut above most. Enjoy your day tomorrow… you’ll be bowled over!

Ultimately, it is about personal choice & genuinely hope you will all love your choice. There are always many factors & considerations when making a choice & that choice has to be right for you with regards which factors & considerations take precedence & those that can be compromised.

Personally, after having/using different types of vans from differing manufacturers, large & small, I need a window/skylight above the cab, not a shelf. This has always been my reason not to consider Consort. We are all different, so enjoy & hopefully you will be in receipt of your new van soon.

They look well made and it's nice to have that extra personal touch where you can deal directly with the manufacturer. I see the Reef 2 on show is based on the old Ducato 7. Wouldn't it worth asking Consort if they could sell it to you as it should be a lot cheaper than the one you can't afford? With you cancelling the Swift, aren't you going to lose the deposit?

Superb build quality, again like you, we had already placed our order ,or we would have definitely been very interested in the Consort range. You have definitely made the right. Decision. Well done,hope all goes well on Tuesday. 100% agree about Swift, you don’t count for anything. Our new 122 Select we collected in October,had a fault on the control panel, dealer told us Sergeant will make new software for it, never heard a word from them, part exchanged it now for something else ,so no more waiting for Swift.
