Excellent program
ОтветитьNvidia stock is roaring like many did during the 1990s bubble. But this time around, the hype around new chips is happening in a more mature demand environment. I want to invest more than $300k, but not sure on how to mitigate risk
ОтветитьAI the open book
Ответитьif you cant join the mtliiary work for nvidia or tsmc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ответитьlost control
Ответить8/10/2023 el z3 en Bolívia 🙌💻🤯🥽😶
ОтветитьThe author of chip war is so young that I can’t believe he has written such a masterpeice
ОтветитьCan these chip companies in US be really profitable by selling these chips compatibly ? I doubt it!
ОтветитьImagine if humans stopped being idiots with all the sensless wars and political divisions and hatred, how much more progress we could make technologically...
ОтветитьWho is dominating the chip market? Why, Frito-Lay, of course... ;-P
ОтветитьI B M surpass 2 nm Chips.
ОтветитьNo more, ASML. Huawei have proven it. 😂
ОтветитьIt's funny how they believe it compulsory to state that ASML is a Dutch company *with US roots*🤣🤣
Ответитьdamn background music.. aaaaaaaggggghhhhhhhhhhhh
ОтветитьCan I be green intel
Ответить"National security risk"
....... bleeeeh😂😅, national interest risk perhaps
❤
ОтветитьEste vídeo mostra com muitos detalhes o crescimento de aparelhos vindo da china, sem a preocupação de origem, qualidade e sem o pagamento de tributos o qual as empresas legais pagam.
ОтветитьInteressante
ОтветитьGuess you didn’t get the memo
ОтветитьThis obviously didn't age well 😂 You all thought sanctioning China would prevent China from advancing beyond 28nm for at least the next 10 years and they just mass produced 7nm chips and achieved 4nm technology as well.
ОтветитьWhere is ARM
ОтветитьLmao Intel 😂
Ответитьngl the comment about God deciding where oil reserves are is kind of racist
ОтветитьYa no. ahora es China ja ja ja ja viva China carajo
ОтветитьHuaweii mate 60 pro kirin 9000s with out ASML
ОтветитьNATO's founding member countries were: Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the United States.
ОтветитьHer voice is so soothing. Lol
ОтветитьNo worries, very soon Intel will be poaching the TSMC engineers just across the road 😂😂😂😅good luck TSMC🙏
ОтветитьIF CHINA CANCEL YOUR MACHINE YOU WILL CRY
ОтветитьAs consumers, we don't want dominated by one. We want competitions.
ОтветитьAccording to Chinese media outlets and some published in English, China could be self-sufficient in less than 10 years while others say longer.
See this article
China’s Semiconductor Breakthrough
China plans to build 31 chip factories by 2024 and by 2025 plans to be 67-70% self-sufficient.
According to some Chinese experts, they expect that China maybe, maybe, will be able to be 100% self-sufficient by 2035. But that is not the point. Even with China at 70% self-sufficient it will hurt a lot of chip companies. We have to understand that China at one time was only 3% self-sufficient and was spending around 300-400 billion dollars a year on chips from foreign chip companies-this number has since shrunk to like about 200 billion and getting smaller by the day.
RIP TSMC (Taiwain)
RIP Intel, Micron,Qualcomm, others (USA)
RIP Japan
RIP Samsung (South Korea)
RIP ASML (Ntherlands) -China will be making their own machines as well
I suggest these companies venture into other businesses becuase China also plans to make 75% of all chips when ready. Therefore, non-Chinese companies will have to settle and fight for the 25% leftover in the near future.
The US has just lost one of two remaining Gold’ Tech advantages, the only one left is the space race/ industry and that’s going as well. The US has dragged so many companies and countries down in its dirty little pseudo self invented trade war with China. It lost!
ОтветитьVery in depth video about ASML, one year passed, many things changed. TSMC facing big problem in the AZ factory, not only delay the production, also the cost may increase 30-40% even if it can start. Samsung facing big challenge due to lost of Chinese order and profit slump rapidly. All this put huge risk for the research cost and future feasibility. While China start flood the market with cheap 28nm chips which takes 70% of all chip demand. Just last week, Huawei start selling the mate 60 pro with self developed EDA designed 7nm CPU, made by SMIC, their own DUV is coming out soon, also more advanced system is under developing. The political sanction to China hurts everyone, but maybe the west will have fatal blow due to lack of whole industrial chain and capital support.
ОтветитьI need job i no how to make chips
ОтветитьEUV lithography was originally licensed from a Department of Energy laboratory.
ОтветитьAmerica is a paper tiger.
ОтветитьAmazing tech. Leaders in US need to stop wasting time with the useless race and gender identity obsession nonsense and start focusing on merit in education, employment and investment. Doing otherwise will have us circling the drain while the rest of the world rises to the top.
ОтветитьChina, don't whine about the competition. Your country has stolen so much intellectual property from the West, its hard to tell the difference. USA brought semiconductors into the market; Cell phone tech also. China should invest several BILLION of it's $$$ instead of stealing it.
ОтветитьThank you so muich!!!! Thank you so so so so much for this information. It was need the most!!! Thank you CNBC for this most valuable information.
Ответитьis this supposed to be real fact and not miss information? Only 5 companies can afford to buy these machine? How about SMIC and Huawei that had their order block from shipment via US cohesion?
Ответитьbig shout-out to the crew, wonderful video!!!
ОтветитьThis report makes it sound like it's a bad thing that TSMC is secretive. It's secretive because intellectual property. Imagine CNBC walking up to Northrop Grumman and asking for a tourist tour with cameras. The fact that TSMC has dropped their pants and opened up their secrets to US government will bite them later on.
Ответить11 months late to this. Seems like the US imposed sanctions on China forced upon ASML may spell the death knell for ASML. China has realized that they cannot depend on existing suppliers of ICs and lithography equipment due to US driven trade war. China has embarked on their own path on this. May take years but does not bode well for ASML and by extension to I manufacturers.
ОтветитьIntel got lazy and fell behind. AMD caught up on them in tech and produces 5nm chips. What a massive fail in management at Intel. Bet someone left the company with a bonus to make room for new management. But Intel still has the liquidity to invest. Their aggressive sales strategy (teamed up with other companies like Microsoft and pc builders to only sell Intel chips) held back development some years. Lazy management, focus on profits instead of technology. Happens all over the world. The lack of company vision.
ОтветитьI really wonder why have 1.1K viewers voted thumbs down???
ОтветитьTsmc if you move everything to America, you will lose it all.Better split it in three factories around the world. All else America will Rob your company off all its intellectual property
ОтветитьI always tnought Lays made more chips than anyone!
Ответить
