Subotica is a very original and interesting city. And one of the main cities in Serbia, perhaps it can be put in third place after Belgrade and Novi Sad, thank you for the interesting story
Ответитьyou look in the eyes when you say živeli :)
I love your videos, I liked the shirt of Palmeiras in subotica's video, "dale porco" kk
I want to immigrate to subotica, I have Serbian-Hungarian ancestry, are you going to stop by the city of Zenta? it is 40 min from subotica
You make me smile again ❤
Im living in subotica
The unripe fruits that Ivana tasted are not actually green cherries, but a type of autochthonous wild plum :) There are many types, the types are of different colors when they are ripe, but the children (and me) like green ones :D
(Ungarische Sezession)
(Theresienstadt)
Love how Ivana enjoys Serbian food…..and she chose better dish! ❤❤❤
Ответитьyou wont catch anything in palic they used to throw the waist in there and the water is dirty
I'll be there for a month in two weeks; can't wait!
Ответитьi will never be the same after hearing tomato sauce
Great to see people visiting my home city, seeing it through your eyes feels so cool :D
In May theres a huuuge funfair in palic like next to the lake
Brilliant guys!Greetings from Ireland. Haven't been to subotica but loved novi sad...if you haven't been already check out a place called "Bela Crkva" in vojvodina region and Niš close to border with bulgaria.
Damn Subotica from Serbia! It looks amazing❤
Secesio is the name of the arhitecture style.
This video deserves more views! Great all around, not a boring moment 👏
Even majority of Serbians don't like fish stew, but we in Vojvodina near rivers adore it! For me it is one of the best meals you can have if you have basic knowledge to prepare it.
I grew up in Subotica
Welcome to my city Subotica, have a nice time and enjoy. greeting.
Prelep grad!
Ответить@Ivana if you like fish stew my recommendation when you are back in Novi Sad is Čarda „Splav Dunavac“ just out side of Futog... for me Fish paprikas whit no bones + pasta whit cheese is one of the best i eat around Vojvodina this year ( order 1 portion for you both of you ) for the second meal after stew i recommend smoked carp / trout or keciga ( Sterlet Fish ) about 1/2kg for you 2... and if Steve dont like fish you can order mix grill meat, whit fish i recommend potato salad and for meat shopska ofc, for you 2 price should be around 30-40$ depands on the drink that you have... when you go there enjoy good food or PM and i will take you there my treat :)
Novi Sad architecture is hugely neoclassical and gothic so obviously it looks different, but the vibe is similar, both are typical central European cities. And you can also find Art nouveau, Art deco etc buildings in Novi Sad, so it is not one style. Both places have various styles in different proportions
Subotica - Szabadka was Hungary's. many great Hungarian poets and writers were born there. Half of the population is STILL HUNGARIAN.
Lovely town!
Go to Sombor, also beautiful city! Only 1 hour from Subotica.
Glad you like our city 😄
The architecture style is Hungarian Secession
Super!!👏👏
You are supposed to squeeze the small paprika extract bottle for the extract to come out, not shake it. By shaking it you'll drip it all over the table and your clothes. 😁
Subotica is a diminutive of Subota which means Saturday , so Subotica = Little Saturday.
Go to Palić for the weekend, and the other direction (just folow the path you were walking back From the restaurant..)
Northern Serbia has several high-end wineries, Zvonko Bogdan being the biggest situated very close to Subotica and lake Palić.
Very nice video. Enjoyed it❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Very pretty buildings. I like this style so much.
Welcome to my city, I'm glad you're here and I hope to meet you on the street. Be sure to visit the Zvonko Bogdan winery and the Petra winery. Try ice cream in Pelivan and visit the most famous market called Buvljak :)
The architecture in Subotica and Novi Sad is different because Subotica is mostly built in the style called Art Nouveau (Secesija in Serbian), while Novi Sad is mostly built in the Baroque style. There are more Art Nouveau buildings in other parts of Serbia, including Belgrade (for example, one building and a house that belonged to one of our important scientists and mathematicians on Kosančić's Venac), but Subotica is the only city in Serbia that has most buildings in this style. The Subotica Synagogue has a unique architecture, a mixture of Hungarian Art Nouveau and Serbo-Byzantine style (which is especially visible in the shape of the building and the roof).
Border city, nothing special...like youre in nowhere land, nither looks Serbian, Hungarian, Austrian...
I love how u came back to Serbia after year or so. Glad that you like our country❤
Lovely video and a very lovely town, you presented it in such a beautiful way.
Omg guys you’re in my hometown!! I hope you’re enjoying it . I will go back home in a month.
Oh wow, both Novisad and Subotica are very beautiful cities. 🤩
I highly recommend you guys visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are some amazing waterfalls and a small beach in Neum. Also the cities of Mostar and Sarajevo are a bucket list.
Hope you can get a chance to visit since it is so close to Serbia! Enjoy!
All the pretty buildings were built while Subotica belonged to Hungary, that's why you didn't see anything similar in Serbia.
