Totally just sitting here for 5 minutes extra chilling with my kitty in front of me as my beacon of unconditional love.
ОтветитьI just got through with this meditation and it really brought a dichotomy of sadness and compassion for my little self. I felt like I had to search and search to remember where I felt unadulterated love. Logically, my mom showed us love and yet she was a widow with five kids and I think had some difficulty with presence. I also think my lens was skewed because I had a hard time feeling seen or as though I fit in. And at 34 was when I felt the most loved, just a few weeks ago, my mom watched a video of me and said “I see your light Jenna” and I was amazed at how healing that was. I used that moment in the meditation and somehow felt like it made my little girl feel as though she was loved, even if it was hard for her to understand. Thank you for listening. And sending love to all the rest out there 💗💗💗
ОтветитьThis is one of my favorite 5 min meditation. Thanks for making it accessible to us all.
ОтветитьFor me, it is difficult to find that moment of complete acceptance and kindness. I must have focused on the sad and hard parts of my life to forget all the kindness.
ОтветитьThat part when he said think of that moment in your childhood (without yet telling those words when you were accepted with unadulterated compassion/kindness) just suddenly remembered that scene when my parents were patiently waiting for me outside our house at past midnight bec I went to a party right after school still in uniform, w/o their knowledge. I was so ready to be scolded that time but only met me with their worried/sad look and my mother in a soft but sad voice, next time don’t do this again. My dad also said you made us so worried😢. Bless their souls, now reminded me again to become a better parent/grandparent😢❤. Thank you🙏
ОтветитьThanks for the wisdom shared!
ОтветитьThis guided meditation with Jon Kabat-Zinn is absolutely amazing! I've been practicing mindfulness for a while now, and his teachings always resonate with me. The power of compassion is truly life-changing, and I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to learn from such a renowned expert. Can't wait to join the full MasterClass and deepen my practice even more!
ОтветитьThumbs up if the starting chimes bother you! (maybe we can raise awareness, esp for those who wear earphones)
ОтветитьI wanted to like this but those bells just resonate horribly with my tinnitus. Sorry
Ответить❤🙏❤️
ОтветитьOK this was a meditation unlike anything ive ever had I is all Im gonna say.
Ответитьhi from Chiangmai
ОтветитьLove the attempt but I was seeking a mediation for relaxing the mind any recommendations MasterClass
ОтветитьIt finish suddenly? I was cryng, after meeting my memory, i needed an end, with Jon, sweet, holding me voice. !❤
Ответитьtypo in the title
ОтветитьAlright.. was Meditation misspelled in the title as a cheap viewer grab?
'Cause if so, I'm completely turning away from this platform. The irony in using aggravation as a profit on a meditation session is beyond me.
Oops! Misspelled the word "meditation" in the title. It reads "Mediation".
ОтветитьMy first choice for Nobel Prize.
ОтветитьCried like a baby the first time I listened to this. Got better with the second, and the third...was able to write and get out of my headspace after 5 times. Thank you for making this....
ОтветитьI've never experienced unconditional love, wish I had. The wrong meditation for me.
ОтветитьLoving Kindness and Compassion Meditation Practise ❤ Thank You. 🙏🏾🦋JKZ. Also I myself have reflected ..When Its hard to find a memory of total love and acceptance from another person ... break it down to an element of love and that feeling and sit with that . Also Sometimes we have to bring in forgiveness to remember we are or were loved and accepted at least at times . There is also the love within nature and the love of animal friends and companions 😊
ОтветитьMakes sense that the unconditional love i recieved was from my dog. He was quite the person.
ОтветитьSo soothing and calming .
ОтветитьI love this meditation. It does bring up emotions that are healing. Sometimes that person who has loved us in this way may have been our inner child. To express this loving kindness back to our inner child is also healing.
ОтветитьNice vedio
ОтветитьThanks Jon namaste 😇
ОтветитьLove the content. Have quite sensitive ears so singing bowls n bells are an irritation to my hearing. Known, Godly love, Motherly love, and pet dogs unconditional love. The balance of people are very dubious in my mind, that are often temporary selfish acts to reward themselves.. sadly.
Realised today I don't know of a single person who hasn't had trials, tribulation or great challenges to deal with in life.
Love is the greatest gift given to us all, and to share ❤. If it's wasted, the loss is unto them.
So wonderful. Thank you Jon.
ОтветитьThis man is a National Treasure. 🙏🏾❤️
ОтветитьTHANK YOU
ОтветитьThis was much needed today 🙏🏻
ОтветитьNeeded this!
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьHave no recollection of unconditional love or acceptance or even being hugged. I was 29 before i met someone who showed me kindness and warmth. Nobody was cruel, just kinda indifferent or busy. I was fed clothed educated bought toys etc but hugs or asked how i felt NO. One had to be very upset, crying hard, and even then no cuddles. My mom only cuddled us up to age 2 probably. I saw her cuddle my 3 yr old sister once and i felt jealous. I remember saying, Im your pet too u know! I was 4 then. She looked up at me but made no reply.
ОтветитьThis class made me weep. Feels like my heart has been damaged so many times that it was hard for me to recognize a time I was welcomed with unadulterated love. I have just started on my meditation/mindfulness journey and I have a lot more work to do to find that love and peacefulness that has been with me my whole life but has been hidden away through trauma.
Namaste❤️
Wow! Completely lost in the breath. Didn't even know the video had finished. Sitting in peace...
ОтветитьDr. Kabat Zinn, doing meditation with this video, is the only time I stop fidgeting, Your voice works magic with me, I always get up from this short meditation feeling lighter and more at peace. Thank you!! God bless you.
ОтветитьBrilliant ending! 🎉
ОтветитьAwesome ❤
ОтветитьBomthoughts.barding the mind with bundle of strange
ОтветитьWhat about if that was not the childhood experience..but completely the opposite??
ОтветитьWeird ending I was sitting there and was just thinking but I knew the video was only 5 mins long so I opened my eyes when I was done with my practice and was like uhhhh okay didn’t know the video would end like that but other then that it was a nice practice. Love to all
ОтветитьThis was amazing !
ОтветитьThank you!!!
ОтветитьI asked Suzuki Roshi: "When I work in the kitchen I feel like I am in the heart of practice. Why do I have to sit so much?"
He answered: "To open your mind wider and wider"
- David Chadwick.
This reminds of the book: Inner Quiet, Inner Power.
Beautifully, clean shot episode.
