How to Take Profits

Thank you for another well made and informative video Ali. On the topic of taking profits, I have always wondered how to best determine how to best take profits on scalp / figure out the min. scalp target. I thought that could be a very interesting topic for most of the Quant Systems viewers in case you have covered that in your sessions.

On this channel you have covered a lot about system design and you seem like quite the expert on the topic so hopefully you can answer this question. Then trading is it resonable to have a fixed loss for every trade. Say i willing to loose 500$ per trade therefore i adjusted my position in accordance to stop so i never loose more than 500$. Also how would one go about choosing a resonable position size if they expect to scale in a trade?
