I felt the scratches part I have a fold 4 from samsung and I noticed I had those mini scratches suddenly one day and I got a free replacement cause I said somethings wrong with the phone 😅 and samsung just gave me a new one for the old one 😂😂😂 the scratches on my new phone or daily driver definitely makes me feel some type of way hahaha that part made me laugh

If anyone was to pick a foldable, it HAS to be the Samsung route. The front display is awkward as hell, but the feature set makes it worth it

Not enough specs for the price. Folding phones should be the alpha dog of all phones,instead of a higher end budget phone with access to a larger display.

Pixel fold does not have a stainless steel body. It's regular aluminum.

so honor magic v2 is right now the perfect foldable phone its super thin no gaps its got a front screen thats like any other normal phone and it unfolds to a 7.9 inch like its perfect i really hope samsung and google etc all take notes from it and makes a phone like it i really want apple to make a foldable phone like im a apple user who is stuck in the ecosystem cause all my purchases all my apps everything is on iphone meaning im gonna have nothing i use or play on android if i switch so i want apple to make a foldable

Just got my fold 5 lol & its wayyyyy better I'm sorry.The real tech owners kno the difference abt going back rather than moving forward.....cmon now! More multi tasking options, wayyyyy better customization, way better processor and software engine, more compatible apps! (Did u see those apps ratios lol) spen features, doesn't get hot like the pixel, wayyyy better battery life, I mean are u guys serious? Lol

The purpose of foldable phone has nothing to do with the outside screen but its all about inside screen. People keep saying they want samsung outside screen wider. If you want wider screen just get a regular phone and stop complaining.

Why the hell doesn't any of these reviewers turn the device once it's unfolded? All apps will then be displayed without the black bars and are full screen, just like with the Z Fold devices.

Damn, I had 2 pixel experiences, the 5a and the 7 and returned them both because of the speakers, not even close to Samsung and OnePlus

Coming from a Fold 4 i love this phone and battery life is incredible. But im also on Android 14. Google has nailed this foldable design and once app devs update to this ratio it will be unmatched in the foldable market. Camera is still flagship quality. And who is paying full price for this phone?

I feel like folding phones are gimmicky as of now. Imo the only purpose for them is for attention. Too expensive and too fragile

They need to fix the overheating in tensor. It shuts down automatically when shooting videos in 7 series.

Only spine of the folding mechanism is stainless steel. The rest of the frame is regular aluminium btw

Great day in the life review! But I would like to challenge you. As a content creator, I understand your desire for the best cameras possible. I just don't think the average consumer will balk about a 2MP difference in the main camera. You have many reviews prior to this one where 48MP main sensors and lower have been praised. So why wouldn't this be enough now?

I bring this up because you're a powerful and respected influencer. You're not the "average consumer". Though I totally respect your perspective, I just don't think your camera expectations are realistic for the average consumer. Your pet peeves hurt the sales of this device and other foldables, which will continue to drive these high prices.

I can't see an average consumer or early adopter wanting to try this device because your strong emphasis on the camera makes it sound like the device is trash. At $1,800 and if I'm a regular consumer, I wouldn't want to give it a try because I would feel insecure the money I spent. But iPhone 14 Pro, Pixel 7 Pro and previous Pixels have your praise with cameras are about the equivalent or lower.

It is my hope that influencers like yourself find more purpose in foldables to give you something more to discover to help us all. If we take out the content creator pet peeves like pixel peeping for more and more extreme camera demands, bezel-less chasing and razor thin smartphones, we might have a more interesting discussion from year to year about these devices.

I love pixel phones but the fold is disappointing. I have been using it for less than a day but I can't love the phone because the apps do not support the 7.6 inch screen.

Not liking the form factor. Much better is Samsungs. Fold5 feels better when folded open

Always loved this real day in life format of phone review - truly showing every aspect of a device clearly and transparently! Cool.

Camera on my Google Pixel Fold blows the Samsung Z Fold 4 out of water. Have to do the first software update and then the phone holds a little longer battery Life, charges faster, and doesn't get as warm to the touch. But yeah the Camera is the best on any Foldable phone and I owned the Z Fold 2, Z Fold 3, Z Fold 4, & now Pixel Fold. Volume could be better but it's very good I watched this with the volume at 70% and if I went to 100% it would be too loud. Android runs smoother on the creater of Android ( Google )

as per the form factor, i believe the samsung got it right. ,it’s on the vertical mode when you unfold it which most of the apps runs vertically, even tablets default orientation is vertical.. so when you are on pixel fold and unfold it, most of the time you will rotate your device… the apps adaptability on screen aspect ratio from folded to unfolded is more natural on Samsung while for the pixel fold it needs some customizations

ive had the fold 3 for a little under a year now and already the fold screen is fucked its bubbled up across the whole screen and Samsung does not like to warranty it. I'm fighting them to fix mine atm plus some apps don't work well with the fold screen tbh I wish I just stuck with my old Samsung A71 top of the line under the flagship and that's all you need best value for money phone on the market.

Apple will release Iphone Fold in 2 years! 👏🏽🤩
