i have this virus on my laptop but it only affects my wifi

About like 5 years ago, I was trying to install roblox hacks and I almost got this virus on my dads work computer, he was a financial advisor and has alllll of his data on this one computer. Nothing backed up at all, I was almost in tears but whatever anti virus my dad had stopped it and I didn’t get yelled at.
