Night elves are just kinda super racist in their whole history. Trolls, then highborne/high elves, then they turn on horde races REALLY fast

night elves hit me so hard when I played wc3 that it was my sole purpose for playing alliance all those years ago when WoW was new.
wherever night elves were going to be, I would have taken that side.
I literally did not make any other alliance race character until years and years later during cata, because WoW started to decline and become really boring.
it was such a surreal experience, hating every other alliance faction that I was forced to play alongside, human paladins being the worst offenders.
When Draenai arrived, I was super bummed they exclusively got Shaman class, it was also when I switched to a horde main via blood elves.
Blizzard really made it hard to be a nelf fan 😒

So illidan created the new well, they imprisoned him for it, and proceeded to USE the well as the crucial part of their culture...

The alluding to a greater threat and how we, as common folk turned adventurers, were taking up the duty of defending our people against the Horde or Alliance while also dealing with unseen threats from beyond. We weren't commanders, outlanders, higharchmasterlords of awesomedom, we were common folk turned adventurers who learned how to use magic, wield weapons and learned a profession to help defend our people...

As a nelf druid who has read Chronicles, I feel sorry for the avatars from azeroth. I mean, what gets me most is the fact the priests of the MOON use LIGHT spells. I mean, they're technically 10k years away from the Light religion, why do they use light spells? I'm now conviced that moonbois are the real moon priests

Personal opinion is that WoW made their biggest mistake by not introducing Naga as a playable race in Burning Crusade.

Blood Elves were kinda meh and Dranai felt like they came out of nowhere like they wanted to play StarCraft instead.

For me the story is we have just defeated Arthas and thats it. Nothing happened after that, and we are all waiting on WoW 2.

I mean, figure this. It took Germany a mere 19 years to go from losing the first world war to becoming a massive power that nearly controlled half of Europe. The Night Elves, KNOWING there was an enemy out there that wanted what they had...got high and talked with trees for thousands of years. They could have turned Azeroth into a fortress world that would have made the most hardened Stellaris player go "Fuck no!"
