I think you should still consider BFH. Maps like "The Block" has destruction comparable to BF4

In Bad Company 1 was great thing Thats landscape destruction (Terraforming) great thing, Which was not in future parts and which returned only in Battlefield 1.

I remember reading about how next-gen the destruction was going to be in 2042, very disappointed, hopefully they update it and add more better destruction physics.

The biggest disappointment for me with BF2042 is that the destruction is worse than a game that came out a literal decade earlier

BF1 has best physics and graphics, and Bad company 2 has best sound design in my opinion. The explosions have a sense of pressure in the air that you can hear with the deafening effect

All Battlefields had more destruction then 2042 I feel like you cant destroy anything in battliefield 2042 compared to the older series. I hope they can patch the maps and in general the game to have more destroyable buildings .

Their engine is hot glitchy mess tho, sure they got some nice surface textures but the engine is not good when it comes to animations.

I’d rather reduce the player count from 128 to about 40-50 on each team. It’s clearly a limitation that dice wanted to squeeze out yet performance is low and the lost of destruction in 2042 definitely is just sad. Give us a remastered bf3 with the updated engine and content and take as long as you need to make 2042 a “finished polished” game.

this video is pointless because you are doing the 2042 tests on one of the large buildings that has far less destruction. every BF game has buildings like this, this isnt a comparison between frostbite destruction at all

Modern battlefield's sucks! Bad company 1 and 2 have old engine tec but is more way brutal and fun to explode things and buildings. EA it was something else in the past. But today?! Its pure garbage and mercenary game company! 👎🚫💩

The big test will be portal. We will have a BFBC2 map Arica Harbour running in BF2042, we will see if the destruction after 10 years is better or worse. Also I hope they have the underslung grenade launcher on your rifle in portal

This is actually sad to see. BF at its core vanished with the new releases. BC1 - BF3 were the glorious times. I believe it comes down to how the OG devs moved to other opportunities.

Według mnie w BFV najlepiej to wygląda i ilość detali jakie są podczas destrukcji i mimo że tam odłamki są przez chwilę to jednak ma się wrażenie że jednak to lepiej wygląda i nie znika od razu jak wcześniejszych wersjach. Chociaż w 2042 czołg wjechał jak w masło.

Both Bad Companys hold up great today. Explosion sounds make your ears ring and they're very satisfying.

In BFBC2 to make those 2floor buildings to completely fall off you need explosions in just 3 points: 2 opposite corners on 1 wall and 1 in the middle of opposite wall & all 3 explosion must be in spots right in between 1st & 2nd floor(walls of 2nd floor also gonna be damaged), then whole building just eventually start ruin down.

Driving a tiger tank through a house in BFV was one of the best parts of the game
