Nice, thanks for sharing your experience.. I'm new to all of this, got signed with 4 tracks recently so this video was valuable to me...
ОтветитьBless you for this. I have been producing forever, but I had to learn most of what you taught here for free, over many years. Nice of you to share...no wonder you are blessed...givers never lose
By the way I picked up some new knowledge too. Thanks!
very nice
thank you so much
Thank you brother you have the best musical content keep going, proud of you
ОтветитьVery informative, thank you for making this. What did you do to find your freelance contracts?
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you for sharing. I still think only a tiny percentage of musicians/ producers actually return profit on their investment of time, educational costs, equipment, software and production costs. The market is beyond saturated so being more than just talented, committed, resilient and flexible is high bar that 99% of people will not reach. The dream is the blind ambition that drives hope against hope that YOU are one of the elite to make it big. I didn't make it because I found the walls too high to climb. Even now with everything a few clicks away I can't be arsed with tne cat n mouse nature of musical independence and ever more competition or skulduggery tactics. Good luck.
Ответитьi love your videos, such an inspiration
ОтветитьKind of sounds like you have to live in a big city and know people. I live in the country and don't know anyone lol.
ОтветитьDamn Ethan...Banger after Banger!
ОтветитьIs it possible to make $1,000 a month from Spotify streams by releasing one song per month from two different artist accounts?
(So two songs per month in total, with $500 from each.) One account is mostly electronic/house music with some vocals, reflecting my "artistic" vision, while the second account is more focused on melancholic, emotional, instrumental/piano music, where I am focused on sound engineering.
Both accounts deliver high-quality music consistently. I'm not sure how many streams I’d need in total to reach $1,000, or how much I should invest in ads or campaigns to get there.
Do you have any advice or resources on how to achieve this?
I used to play in a band and DJ for a while, so I know there’s money to be made, but the income wasn’t steady. I also prefer to "run this business" from home rather than performing live.
Take care, man!
Really helpful video❤.
Q-How can i promote my song to the wider audience as a total beginner.
And how labels can approach me as a music producer and as a singer, who makes his own music.
Thank you for your wisdom!
ОтветитьYou inspired me to start producing. Thank you so much for that. ❤
ОтветитьHello, I'm having an issue that needs to be resolved. Whenever I use the Asio driver in Ableton, it monopolized all
my windows audio. I can't use another application other than Ableton, and that's really aggravating. Because of that, I can't watch tutorial videos nor use third-party pluggins.
You’re the best
ОтветитьWhat age did you start producing and how many years did it take prior to making some $? Love the vids, been learning a lot
ОтветитьI always wondered why the F' do we have to go through the big record companies to achieve success 😂
ОтветитьAlso,I'm making 40,000 a year at a job,but it's very confining I still want to express my self through a business of my own ❤
ОтветитьDude! I'm very excited about your analogy of this I do need some insights thanks for your channel, I don't have the $$$ to support this channel right now but I'll keep listening to your's for the future I hope to support you with an a prime example 😅
ОтветитьThanks for breaking this down man, good info!
ОтветитьThank you for taking you time to help and inspire others! Also, you be looking fresh with that suit. 👌
ОтветитьInspired
ОтветитьThank you for taking the mystery out of this!
ОтветитьAnother day, another banger from Ethan
ОтветитьGreat insights, nobody talks about the “touchy” money or producing business topics like you. All this makes sense. I’ve been lucky to do ok at a few of these and definitely some areas for exploration and improvement. Appreciate you 🤙🏽🖤🔊
ОтветитьU don’t get 500 bucks for 100k streams
ОтветитьI learned some time ago, that my career (not in music) required figuring out what I wanted to do, learning how to do it, and then figuring out how to make a living at it; three distinctly different things. The fourth is learning to adjust and adapt those these things over time. Nice video. Thanks for your transparency.
ОтветитьWhere did you go to offer your production skills when starting out. For example fiverr etc?
ОтветитьHello Ethan 👋 I have learnt a lot from your videos specially from Ableton tutorials 😊 is it possible to implement those as you described, from my country? Love from India❤
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing these informations and help the others. But i really have a serious question and i need your own answer especially that you're a producer... Does music actually affects on the mental health in a bad way? Because i heard that the people that listen to music have higher probability to have depression.
Please answer in a detail i will read it no matter how long you type, but i just need your honest answer.
Question: if you were ghost producing how were you generating decent fees for bookings ? Where was the buzz coming from ?
Only guys I know who make big money from live shows / touring are those with millions of monthly listeners on Spotify.
daaaamn keeping it really real! love to hear some actual numbers. appreciate it.
ОтветитьHow do you do this and not be in LA?
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьThank you so much Ethan! Keep these videos going!
ОтветитьGreat video! Lose the suit in the next one though. The trust in your knowledge your’re sharing is everything 🙏🏻
ОтветитьThanks. 😇
ОтветитьWow, great video, thank you! 💯✨️ I had no idea there were so many potentials.Your real-world industry experience is awesome to hear... thanks again!
Ответитьthank you for sharing your experience, I am really glad to know you
ОтветитьProblem is the booking agent, i have friends with big remixes, lot of releases and shows made by themselves, and no one reach out to manage them. Also labels sucks all the money and many times put 200 plus dollars min for payment and they will never pay anything basically as not reaching that.Royalties make less than 20 bucks a month.
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you!!
ОтветитьMann idk if you will ever respond but im mostly struggling in making the music i have on my mind, like for me generating sounds and make a “new unique song” is pretty easy compared to producing and trying to find the right sound and everything… what should i do 😢 to start learning producing it will take me years to master until i make a finished song that can succeed but until it happen i will probably make tons of new songs in my mind… get it? Idk what to do because i do believe i have potential :(
ОтветитьThe internet still works in mysterious ways, but the knowledge is still there from folks like you!
ОтветитьWill you do a Twenty One Pilots cover/remake? I'd love to see you create something like Goner or Guns For Hands. Thanks for all your content!
ОтветитьHow can I work with you?!
Ответить
