How Can i crimp 5e only to 10 mbps ?

ihave cat 7 20 m one and im capped at 100 mb its make no sence for me

I have a cable when I plug it in my ps5 I get 900mbps and in my pc 200 even after changing the ethernet limit to 1gbps can you pls tell me why iv been trying to figure this out 😊

Please help me! My friend has exactly the same provider and he is even my neighbor and we have the same lan cable as the same fritzbox! But he gets 400mbit in the speed test and I only 100 mbit. I also set it to 1Gbit but it still doesn't help. Please help!

I'm using Cat5e cables, ethernet status speed says 1.0 Gbps and yet when I do speed test on Ookla website it reports 100mbps download and upload. Don't know what else to do as it continues to be limited to 100mbps.

Shows speed is 100mbps but when downloading games only giving 1,2 Mbps !!

I’m haveing a problem with my PC where on Wifi or CAT7 cable it’s capped at 50 and my other devices on wifi get 400+

Not getting 1 Gbps when connecting Cat 5e. Colors in my cable aren't in the sequence yours are (mine has all solid colors beside that color + white, i.e. green/ white is next to green and blue/white is next to blue) Does that matter?

it show 1Gbps but when i test the internet speed by speed test it give me quarter of the speed i have in wifi

when i am switching 10mb to 1gb its ok but when i am turning off my pc and turnig on its again switching to 10mb (sorry for my english i hope you understand my problem)

I fixed my because of this, I was using an Ethernet Switch in my case and was only getting 100 Mbps instead of 500, I keep on switching the cables because the 1Gbps option on the dropdown menu of Speed and Duplex was missing based on several cables except one. I remove my switch and plugged in directly the cable from my modem to my desktop and VIOLA, 1Gbps was available and I got the 500Mbps speed back baby! Thanks and mroe power to ECOLOGICALTIME!

So I have tried 3 cables now all CAT 6 and I am still having duplex issues. At what point do I suspect my port on my motherboard?

Is it true that using a crossover cabling in large network gives you above 100mbps internet speed?

I am having the same issue , from the Switch i have connected CAT6 cable 35meteres (Green) the same cable the other end is connected to Switch on the this switch the light is flashing Orange and when logged in to this switch the speed is Capped @100Mbps i am not sure is the termination of RJ45 is not correct or may be one of the lead wire is not able to make the contact to the conductor. Hope you can advice on how to resolve the issue

Can i just use LAN Network Cable Tester?

I've been trying to get faster internet speeds now that I have a new computer, phone, and Xbox. The Xbox is most important because the downloads are ridiculous. But when I replaced the CAT 5e to CAT 7 line, it was actually slower, than the installed 5e line. The provider box is 12 years old, first gen fiber. Any idea what I should ask them for to get faster speed? They say it should give me 300 mbs.
