Do you recommend vacinations for the jungle?

I've visited Tabacon Springs twice, for the day. You are absolutely right with it being heaven on earth. I think it very well could have been Adam & Eve's backyard. The coatimundis on the road are a bit more aggressive & expecting of a snack than the ones I've had the pleasure of spotting in the jungle. Wonder recommendations

My friend and I are going on our first trip September 1st, so excited! We'll be staying in Jaco and are renting a car. I would love to do Trabacon hot springs, do you think if we were to go there straight from the San Jose airport it would be worth it for a day spa pass?
