Well the AL 41 used in mig 1.44 is different than al 41 used in su 35 and su57. There's a confusion because there are two engines designated as al41. AL 41 used in su35 and su57 is upgraded version of AL31 while the one used in mig1.44 was a variable cycle engine.

I'm a little Biased. My Dad, my Uncle and my Brother all worked at General Electric in Cincinnati Ohio My Dad worked on Compressor Design and Fan Blades, My Uncle worked on the Turbine Design and my brother Tested them. My brother was at GE for 9 years and 8 months, when GE lost the Raptor Contract and lost his job. If he was there for 10 years he would have been locked in and would have retired from General Electric. My dad said that, the Airforce made a Mistake and that the General Electric Engine for the Raptor was 10 years more advanced Technology wise and more powerful and easier to maintain. Again I'm a little Biased based on my family ties and what I heard from my Dad and Uncle
