I love the inclusion of the "Best of Both Worlds" riff at the end. I'm sold on this pedal. Now to save up some cash for it.

JFETs are just the solid state equivalent of preamp tubes.

What make is that guitar with the maple fretboard and classical-style headstock?

EHX is luck to have a guy like Bill Rupert to play these things and any input he gives. I always check EHX first before I spend big money on a device.

So why the F did I pay all that money for a Strymon overdrive when this pedal sounds just as good for half the price?

Was just doing some research on JFET drives, this demo came up, and geez, sort of the answer to all my needs. Sounds truly remarkable, and versatile.

Can you safely run the DI out of the EHX Tortion into the microphone input of the EHX Voice box and the guitar out of the EHX Tortion into the "instrument" input of the same (the Voice Box)? In the spirit of Effectology, I would like to see what happens when the VB's various parameters are used to effect a dual guitar signal. Thanks!

Can you run the DI output into another guitar effect, like a BOSS RC-3? Or into a second amp? Thanks!

is the volume on his guitar full up? I have bought the pedal but it doesnt produce lots of gain without the boost. Is the pedal good or is this the way it suposted to be?

Absolutely the best distortion I've heard in a long time ! One of these years I will have one ! EXH makes a lot of Damn Good Stuff !
