Glad i stopped watching the walking dead years ago. Yeah, please explain why this guy shoots his own men instead of shooting Darryl. What a joke. Oh and yeah at the end the guy doesn't see carol has a gun on her hip and turns his back on her. Is the average viewer here 12 years old? These shows are written just as bad as Looney tune cartoons.

This and Dead City are just bullshit shows padded out to last multiple seasons, but with just some mediocre at best content to fill 1 season max

They're designed for mega fans of the show to keep watching waiting for the next crumb of relevant information related to the main The Walking Dead story. Dead City dragged out for 5 episodes with nothing happening to give a little bit of something relevant with Hershel on the end of the season, just to force you to watch at least some of the next season

They could've made a better and more complete ending to the main show and released a big budget Rick movie to tie up the story, and then released these bullshit shows with new stories for people that still want to watch TWD for the rest of their days

I liked the show but was disappointed it didn’t show the fast aggressive walkers it teased about. I am glad Carol is coming back because she is one of my favorite characters.

As an American who has lived in Europe I agree, there are a lot of cool places to have the show based in, even if only for an episode or less to have a quick background shot. But I also hate when anyone says there aren’t the same things in America… yes there are awesome sights… different but still awesome. Imagine seeing the Grand Canyon or Mount Rushmore or the any of the unique American sights. It’s the same as any European sights… just makes it more relatable when you’ve been to the places they’re showing… something that doesn’t actually require on location filming.

Unfortunately I think Darryl is gonna stay 🙄 I don’t really give a fuck about the France story. Sure, it’d be cool to see the fascist douchebag get taken down, and I care about the antagonist dude that told Darryl to blow the truck up, but other than that…I don’t fucking care lol. Darryl went out to find Rick. Let him leave this prolonged ass side mission behind for fucks sake. Edit: gotta disagree with the need for a backstory on the fascist lady. Maybe it’s just that I don’t care about the overall France story, but I’ve really seen enough clear cut evil villains suddenly becoming a character you’re meant to root for as they approach the time of what should have been their death. Every villain doesn’t need a sob story. Everyone has one. I just don’t need to hear it every time.

We do not really know much about Codron, other than he had a brother and some goons and that they were probably not saints. Prior to Daryl arriving they also respected and left the nuns alone. He did lose his brother and went into a rage, but spent a considerable amount of time "hunting" down Daryl. I think its fair to assume there could be a thousand reasons why he did not want to kill him at that moment and had a change of heart. Realising that Daryl is not a bad person.. his brother could have instigated whatever got him called.. etc etc. Codron losing his brother was also a nice throwback to Daryl and Merle in the beginning. The two pairs could resemble eachother quite well. I hope Codron gets a chance to live in season 2.

The Daryl Dixon spinoff is by far the best of the Walking Dead series. Hopefully the next season lives up to the first one. Daryl and Carol are the two best characters in the original series. I think Alpha was the best villain.

The French warrior got beaten up by Daryl so many times that he didnt want to kill him out of respect when the man is protecting civilians. His character felt like he had some else to fight or he would have grown from his brother's death and seeing what the american i doing. protecting civilians.

Small nitpick how did Darryl get to France in a yacht or is their some limited crm restored shipping department able to ship people and things between USA and Europe

Funny how relatively sparse the zombie presence seemed to be in so much of the French countryside and Paris. They apparently hang out en masse on the beaches of Normandy instead.

This show.... omg... it was so agonizingly BORING. It's so aimless and disgusting. I genuinely don't know what the fuck is going on in any given scene. The tattoo face guy just acts how the plot needs him to act and the world building is atrocious. Idk why daryl tried to save that one guy when he litterly killed a kid trying to get back to his family a few scenes before. The villian has no charisma and the characters feel incredibly hollow. The actors have next to no chemistry with eachother what so ever. It's a mess, and it's disgusting.

The guy who was seeking his revenge for his brother's death, should have just left from the bad guys group but for some reason the writers had him go back and be a prisoner 😅

I was a huge TWD fan for the first couple of seasons and the arrival of one of the best villains to grace our screens (autocorrect insists that would be Megan. ), but The Last Of Us realigned my expectations. I'd also rate the first season of Halo (different genre admittedly) above anything from TWD franchise over the last couple of years. If World War Z 2 ever becomes a reality, I'll check it out but I think I'm over zombies for now ;)

It feels like a betrayal if Daryl stays, he's out looking for Rick & answers for Maggie. He has Connie and Carol back home and the kids also. The only time it would seem okay for him to stay is after a reunion with everyone and if they had a ship at their will

i thought its the best product the walking dead has released since mid season 9, and season 6 of twd. it was really refreshing. the cinematography and the sets / locations they used were gorgeous. added to it a lot, seeing iconic french locations was awesome, in america we never see the famous landmarks, and when we do its cgi.

the characters and world they made was also great, i was very impressed
