No one does any refurbishment on any car except the cleaning. Everyone knows that.
3l ka car is sold for 5l. When I asked to sell my car they quoted 3L & when I saw the same car at their Car mela, which had more kms , looked dirty & manual, they quoted it 6.29L.
Does it take 8k labour & 3.5K of fuel on every car? are you kidding me? atleast 15-20 cars can be taken care In this amount.

Car prices are increasing significantly every year now and with that unemployment in this country also . Rbi itself inform that peoples saving has decreased in this country never like this in 30 or 50 years . So if people dont have money it affects multiple buisnessses and this is one of them.

All these guys are creating a bubble of IIT IIM, we give funds to each other and cycle this ecosystem. That's partly the reason why the money comes easy without doing due diligence properly.
Number 2, individual resellers in each city are doing very well now that social media has come to the picture. They'll undercut you and even provide you better service.
The first part I know because I'm seeing this when raising money for my startup.
