Destiny 2's Lore and Story from Lightfall tells us about the new exotic quest for a weapon called Vexcalibur. The Exotic weapon is one that comes from the Avalon quest and it tells us about what happened to Asher Mir in the Vex Network after he merged with them. Mithrax and you descend into the Vex network itself to rescue the wayward warlock and recover a weapon of immense power.
