Since the hostile limits were incorporated the ship experience stops as well as the loot drops and it restarts a few hours after the daily resets.....

Problem with autogrinding is that you can't hit too many hustles anymore during the day before hitting the 2000 cap (which affects the faction and sworm grinding).

Kill switch for 1 hour and keep them out for 3 hours, for the non hostiles. Meaning kill off player ships attacking other players.

I always go into eclipse space and hit 40s. Get 17k-19k per kill

I normally just manually grind my Stella. Thanks for the tip on auto grinding.

Rev, Thank you for noting that one problem is fixed, but there is still ANOTHER PROBLEM that hasn't been fixed yet, and allow me to explain. Lets say that you have a Heavy Hitters SLB, and if you want to be top 5 in that SLB, you may leave 3 or 4 docks worth of ships AFK grinding all night long, but then you will notice that NONE OF YOUR SHIPS ARE GAINING ANY RESOURCE PAYLOADS. For me with 4 docks using 4 attackers for 10 hours with 1 attack per minute, that is about 4*10*60=2400 attacks. So after 10 hours I hit my 2400 attack limit, and then in the next 14 hours,, or until the next day rollover whenever we decided to start this mess, I will gain 0 cargo payloads from attacks. If I had some Clear The Coast Eclipse mission going on, or if I am doing Rare and Epic Eclipse Armadas and GET NO PAYLOAD from them because I hit daily max attack limit in order to keep my high Heavy Hitter SLB position, well we just have to factor that in, and do ALL THE DAILIES FIRST that have cargo payoffs we are counting on and THEN we leave AFK Grinding with 3 hostiles overnight. And of course that also means we need to equip 3 different ships with heavy hitter damage crews, so what are the 3 favorite crews? And I should say I'm OPS38, so I don't have Hugh or Janeway yet. The 3 lower level damage crews that I can find at ops38 are:
* 5 Gorkon Khan (thank you for mentioning that one)
* Goon, Ro, Harcourt Fenton Mudd
* Gonzales, Val, Shev

And then I also figured out which of my 3 ships have the highest Crit% attribute, these are 17% or more:
* Talios Crit 18.7%
* Hijacked D3 Crit 17%
and then my Saladin Crit is 12%.

So here is just another reason why Talios is my FAVORITE SHIP and is also my most powerful ship at OPS38, with Saladin in 2nd, and Cerritos and Vidar tied for 3rd. Of course I need to refine G4 materials to upgrade my Talios any further, but I have 125/150 BP for Enterprise, so I'll get it soon, I have been putting Research and Crew advances ahead of building Enterprise, that is why Talios remains my best ship for now, but yeah it is a great critical damage producer for the Heavy Hitter event, if you don't care about sacrificing cargo gains after 10 hours of continuous attacking. And if you are actually manually attacking 3 or 4 warships at once doing 5-10 attacks per minute, you can hit that 2400 attack limit within a few hours. I'm surprised more people don't complain about this. It seems to be a feature designed to prevent Robot players, but then the AFK Hostile technique is an "endorsed robot" method of attacking all night long. To keep playing as is, I just make sure I capture all cargo related mission objectives first before I do any 2400+ hostile attack missions SLBs.

Grinding XP as f2p in higher 40s is a joke and nearly impossible. And scopley needs to address this.
My Feesha (lv35 ->45) needs ~30M xp
My Talios (lv28->30) requires ~3M xp
My Cerritos (lv31->35) requires ~8M xp
My Mantis (lv26->30) requires ~5M xp
My Fran A (lv40->45) requires ~19M xp

That's like 65M xp. It would take such a long time to actively grind. Even if I want to use lat, I would need to refine lat for nearly 100 days, and not use it for any speedups, which is again a huge bottleneck. There is no practical free path to level ships up for me now and I keep falling behind as time progresses. I have stopped leveling ships up till scopley understands their own mess and adds a way to level up ships faster.

Rev bud, I've watched you for years and love the content. Not to rush you, but I'm needing level 51+ content, and I don't like any of the other content creators, they're annoying.

To each their own, but I've never used auto grinding hostiles for leveling my stella - I level them on eclipse hostiles to get security codes for my store pulls. And I try to confine that leveling to days when there's an eclipse event, like on Thursdays or the one ticket thing. That way it's 3 birds with one stone.

Hi Rev. I always look forward to your videos. I love that you consider low, mid and high level players. My game play has transformed since following your guidance. I always love videos on crewing as I find it confusing. The videos on syndicate XP and hitting hostile in Sol etc. were awesome.

There are also several pieces of research that increase XP, especially the one in the Galaxy tree called Prime Enhanced Analysis (available at ops 41), that GREATLY increases XP gained!

Depending on your crew, research and level you can go to Penumbra in eclipse space and get 8-10k xp per hit or more.
