ОтветитьAs much as I love Aretha, bless her soul! Let us all take a moment to praise the slick sax playing of Blue Lou, and the friggin' awesome bassline!

ОтветитьI was in high school when this came out. It was instantly a cult classic. The countless one-liners are still in use today, and people still quite entire scenes.
I remember being blown away at the solid wall of talent they got to perform in the movie. I mean, seriously, The Queen of Soul performing like a goddess while garbed in a stained waitress’s uniform and slippers? Solid gold.
歌唱力ヤバっ!
この映画本当に好き❤
❤❤❤❤hello everyone
ОтветитьTruly great scene, so funny the Queen of soul singing away while Jake and Elwood sit there
ОтветитьNot even the Blues brothers can resist Arerha's musicality ❤
ОтветитьElvis might have been the king of rock & roll, but Aretha Franklin was, and will always be the Queen of soul!! RIP Queen Aretha, we miss you 💔

Remember how you used to see postal workers in movies quite often until UPS, FedEx and other inferior private companies became more popular. I bet it's the post office fault

ОтветитьIt looks like this scene inspired Olivia Newton-John's “Bad Sandy” act in Grease in the song You're the One That I Want
Ответитьhappy birthday Aretha Franklin
ОтветитьI was blessed enough to meet Matt Guitar Murphy in Downtown Denver at an underground blues club where he was playing. I was a light tech for Amarillo Productions and had connections so. I got to meet him. I shook his hand and told him that I was a big fan of his. He was so cool and laid back. Then I thought how many blues greats shook the same hand I did.. Including Aretha Franklin...
