How Mario Kart DS is Mind Blowing!

Mario Kart DS is in my top favorite video games ever. This game is amazing and especially mind blowing at the time.

Some more things I love about this game:

1) While it’s not the most amazing track, Yoshi Falls is one of the few tracks you can actually drive through waterfalls
2) Cheep Cheep Beach is genuinely so relaxing and peaceful
3) Again, it may not be the best track overall but I really enjoy the Super Mario Bros. 3 theming on Desert Hills especially with the angry sun
4) Shroom Ridge is both a really pleasant and fun track that really does feel like you’re on a road trip
5) Wario Stadium is much more fun and interesting compared to its older cousin on the N64
6) Frappe Snowland and Banshee Boardwalk are also improved on a lot from the N64
7) While the Double Dash courses are downgraded from their original versions, it’s still cool to see them again
8) Aside from Peach Circuit, the GBA inclusions in this game are actually pretty solid especially Sky Garden
9) I really appreciate the balancing of the retro courses overall with 4 courses from each previous game
10) This game introduced the bullet bill which is kind of like the chain chomp but much more precise making it one of the most useful items in the entire series
11) The battle mode in this game is right up there with the N64 one as being one of my all time favorites
12) Local multiplayer is awesome if you want to play with friends or family

The retro selection isn’t that good tbh, why did he praise on how “good” it is? Lol

And I really like that game.

I beat some of the staff ghost data in that game. It has not been talked about in this video.

Is it just placebo or is items more balanced in DS? There's less frequent power spikes and the most powerful items are rarest, so it didn't feel as luck-determined.

The blooper item is useless against the master of playing on the bottom screen!

I would have played this game more but my brother swiped my DS and when he returned it everything was unlocked. Just didn't feel the same...

Just don't drift on the stairs in Luigi's Mansion.

God I remember playing the Multiplayer Mode with Family Members and having an absolute Blast. Good Memorys😌

This game is hard! I had a hard time playing when I was younger even when I’m a teen! I tried unlocking waluigi because he’s my favourite character! And it’s hard!

The physics are also amazing . I would always pick Bowser Tyrant kart , because it would do a lot of knockback and push the Cpus off the track very easily. LOL

I think you overrate this game. For example, you say none of the tracks have the same music (wich isn't true anyway). But later titles also never used the same music twice. Besides later titles are in my opinion much more fun with the additional gimmics, even greater soundtrack and more playable characters.

Actually you dknt have to blow in the mic for your balloons, you can hold select for 2,5sec and you have your ballon
