The upright base is really the lead instrument in jazz. Everything else is built on the foundation. Of course Duke knows how to stay off the Base keys.
ОтветитьGreat music !
Ответить作曲者自身の演奏は、とても参考になります。このうえなく刺激的な。やっぱり、バラードなんだなと思ったけれど、思っていたより装飾的な音色を、彼自身は思い描いていたんだということもわかり。
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьYoonchae from katseye suggested this.
Ответить하..❤
ОтветитьErrol G. Un artista unico !!!
kiti BsAs Argentina
Eroll is an icon
ОтветитьCan't wipe the smile off my face ❤❤
ОтветитьHow he feels it 😌
ОтветитьSomeone tell me, did he originally read sheet music for this or is it all riffing around a melody he knows in his head?!. Amazing use of the whole keyboard. Wow.
ОтветитьBreath-taking
ОтветитьSublimity.
ОтветитьThe score was entirely in his head and never written down. Many have tried to do manuscript but unfortunately the virtuoso pieces are too complex.
Brilliant
I had the pleasure of seeing Errol Garner in concert in Birmingham Town Hall (UK) way back in the sixties. Powerful memories!
ОтветитьApparently he would invite young pianists to his house to hear them play just to play what they played and completely flex on them 😂
ОтветитьMerveilleux Erroll, l’incomparable magicien du clavier à écouter à tout âge, du soir au matin.
ОтветитьA bit too cocktail piano for my taste. I want to hear Misty pure and simple, not a Piano Colada with bananas and whipped cream.
Ответить즉흥인가요>?
ОтветитьArt Tatum Thelonious Monk Erroll Garner Oscar Peterson
ОтветитьA l'aise Blaise
ОтветитьHe plays so effortlessly - love the flourishes he slips in ❤
ОтветитьWhen listening to Mr. Garner’s intro, you never quite knew what he was going to play.
ОтветитьWow!
What A Gifted Artist!

Tiring.
The song is lost among the flash.
Effortlessly played. Perfection.....WOW.
ОтветитьFun fact Garner was actually standing up during this performance
ОтветитьNice but it was Johnny Burke who turned this beautiful melody into a song.
ОтветитьMagic!
ОтветитьSplendid 💯
ОтветитьThat’s remarkably good.
ОтветитьBeautifull, so talented.
Ответить😊❤
ОтветитьThe word "genius" doesn't do Erroll Garner justice. Fabulous in every way. Talented in every way. What a delight to listen to this wonderful world class person. No one I've heard can even come close Erroll Garner's greatness.
ОтветитьThe very best pianist of the USA and worldwide, God has him already in his reign and for all eternity.
ОтветитьFour minutes of perfection
ОтветитьWhen I was I first heard misty I was 17 now I’m 82 and still love it.
Ответить8years gone my dad idolised Errol which is why it brought me here he was a jazz musician played clarinet and played this perfectly, it was a challenging time for me 😮woken early to the sounds , However good and bad it’s a comfort to here this right now ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI’ve taken piano lessons in the past but I don’t consider myself a piano player by any stretch. However I can appreciate this mans obvious keyboard skills and finger dexterity but for me that’s where it stops. There was no discernible melody, just a noise which I found hard to listen to.
Ответитьjust amazing
ОтветитьMysty was the favorite song of my godfather, Billy Rogers. He told me that back in time, the 50s or 60s. Me, Laura, the song from the movie, and the middle name of my grandmother, Catherine Laura Ring Rogers. South Boston-Savin Hill, Dot.
ОтветитьThe man was a Keyboard Genius.
Ответить6000000play
ОтветитьThis is just so beautiful. It makes me feel like i’m living the dream.
ОтветитьHow the hell did he learn to play like this with the finger technique?!? This isn't just dumb luck.
ОтветитьOne of my Dad’s favorite songs! ❤
ОтветитьI remember when Misty was the theme song for The Today Show in the 1960s.
ОтветитьThank you for posting his music. I’ve never heard of his name nor anything about him. He’s a true genius in my eyes for composing such a beautiful song when he even didn’t know anything about music. Also, it’s quite impressive to see his fingers just fluttering over the keys so effortlessly. WOW!
ОтветитьOne of those players who shows you that nobody knew the instrument could do that until he came along.
