This method typically tests lower level and maybe mid level (if you were to include some analysis) but you are working with more isolated declarative knowledge practicing lower levels like understanding and explaining which is incredibly inefficient compared to other interleaving techniques that utilise analysis, evaluation and creation which will automatically fill in those lower order gaps such as explaining, understanding and applying

This is why professors doing a combination of research and teaching is a very good combination. At first blush, it seems like teaching is a waste of a good researcher's time. But actually, it's very hard just to sit in an office and continually lay golden eggs. Explaining things to students often inspires, even among highly experienced practitioners.

Very interesting and helpful.
For his part, Richard Feynman is a hero of mine. I recommend his various books, serious and light-hearted.
As for your "a couple of different times", I have, for information, a couple of different sisters.

Richard Feynman couldn't teach. He said so himself in the introduction to the Feynman Lectures. Use at your peril.
