I've been saying for years... They need to build a decent entry level mx bike for 5 grand...along with it, offer hundreds of upgrades in the hard parts catalog so that you can build it to any skill level. That way one production line could cover everyone from curious entrant to local pro.
Yamaha used to have a bike like that back in the 70s. Good but basic with tons of available upgrades.
If units are under $8k you will see more sales. Unfortunately, the 250s from Husky and KTMs are selling for about the same price as a YZ 450 😢
ОтветитьGreat beats for the intro, used the same sounds when I was in film school 2 years ago. 😎
ОтветитьProbably a decline due to the cost of a bike now...
ОтветитьI pray gas gas stays around manufacturing wise, at least. I love my 350. The cheapest of the big 3 and damn near a ktm
ОтветитьNothing has to do with the Covid scandal. It has to do with the price of bikes point blank and period. Unless you’re a pro racer chasing the dream less and less people going to pay 10 plus grand for a bike that’s worth 5k as soon as it’s loaded in the truck. And that’s KTM groups fault for flooding the market and raising prices with every bike. People need to start realizing facts instead of just placing the blame on something from almost 5 years ago.
ОтветитьSome one at ktm/ husky is fucking up look they were not paying Skyler Howes his bonus for dakar they parted ways the you have a legend Toby price out of a ride now it’s hitting the mx series across the world
Ответить$10,000 for a bike prices out working class people from paying cash for a new bike, and interest rates on loans keep them out.
ОтветитьRj is there only hope
ОтветитьThat's what happens when the democrats gave all that free money out
ОтветитьIt’s crazy because gas gas ,KTM and Husqvarna are probably the most bikes sold out of any manufacture if anything KTM has definitely sold more bikes than any manufacture in the last 10 years!!
ОтветитьStar Yamaha needs to stop hiring guys that can't win an pay the riders that do win a lot more money
ОтветитьNo one can afford a new bike in Australia or New Zealand. 85cc are $10,300 in NZ for an 85 imagine what a 450 is worth yes close to $20,000
ОтветитьKTM is the new GM. Chevy Buick Pontiac Cadillac. Should’ve just stuck with orange
Ответить🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
ОтветитьChristian and Malcom need to retire.
ОтветитьNot only the bike companies, but the sponsors profits also suffer in a sh1t economy (rockstar drink sales, oneil etc etc) so harder to support teams than it was 4 years ago.
ОтветитьWe need oil industry. President Trump
ОтветитьBiden created all these problems
ОтветитьIts pronounced [ˈhʉ̂ːsˌkvɑːɳa]. 3 syllables not 4.
ОтветитьMXGP boys are smoking it while the AMA boys are lagging. Stupid decision.
Ответить10,000 for a bike ? I’ll watch lol
ОтветитьWho tf wants to pay 12 k for a dirt bike. I can't believe how much manufactures ask for their toys. All of them, sxs, PWC, dirt bikes, etc. Are all over priced.
ОтветитьI get it that the entire industry is feeling it but I'm always bummed that these corporations can't just ride it out as the industry will be back once the macroeconomy returns. They made a killing over the last four years and now we have one bad year, they start the cutting of teams and riders. Really lame!
ОтветитьHusqvarna not husqervarna
ОтветитьShort sighted corporate leaders+ short sighted public. Its what you get. All the information telling you this was going to happen was there.. It was just not "popular".
ОтветитьYeah $10000 dirt bike , where’s the problem
Ответитьjust saw a breaking post that Gas Gas will not be supported either for MXGP. only KTM.
ОтветитьNo shit they’re taking a hit, they cost 3k more much as a Jap bike.
ОтветитьAre there any new developments in signing Prado to ride GasGas full time in the US?
ОтветитьIt's been the 11th year of Husqvarna's relaunch as part of the KTM group and americans still can't pronounce it.
That host seems to be bored to death the way he's speaking 😅
I think KTM’s plethora of reliability issues are killing their sales:
- 300 pistons hitting crank and blowing a hole out the front of the cases
- Failed pressure sensors
- Fouled plugs
- Jammed starters
- Seize marks on piston and cylinder on 0 mile bikes
- Adventure twins cam lobe collapse within 10,000 miles, taking the head with it
- Fuel pumps mounted high up so bike runs out of gas with a liter remaining at the bottom
- Start buttons failing
- Grit in steering head bearings
Get rid of Stewart just wasting their time with him.
ОтветитьIt’s more to do with it’s a sport that’s out of reach for the type of public that actually want to ride. Entry level events are few and far between, pair that with Too much general expense for the average rider and above all bikes that are way too expensive now.
ОтветитьFjb
ОтветитьGreat edit...
ОтветитьMybe if there bikes wernt 12l they’d sale me i can get 2024 kx450 for 6230 right now in Pennsylvania
ОтветитьBesides RJ husky and gas gas really haven't done shit, the mxgp side are way better than what we have here. They paid all these dudes and nothing really to show for, don't blame them..
ОтветитьShut down, not shutdown. It's like when you work out, and you do a workout. Even though this is moto, professional journalists should know the difference.
ОтветитьOnly “new brand” that honestly has a shot is Ducati. Gas gas, husky, Triumph, have a up hill road. To me the only new brand that will stick is KTM. Of course I’m older
ОтветитьProbably shouldn't have built that billion dollars facility🤷♂️🏁🤙
ОтветитьKTM paying sexton so much they had to cut the other teams 😂
ОтветитьHard to believe they are shutting down the Husky team in MXGP, Lucas & Kay are killing it.
ОтветитьThe Austrian group added two additional bike brands each with their own marketing, admin and production costs. But their sales certainly didn’t grow three times because of this. They were likely just diluted yet it increased their expenses greatly.
When you take a look at the economic realities of this, how do you think triumph will fare under these conditions??
Will Husky and GasGas continue to produce MX bikes for 2026 and beyond?
Ответитьhow much $$$$ did they give chase 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьYeah, I think the smart thing to do would be to support some satellite teams on the white and red bikes
ОтветитьThe decline in sales is because Democrats have ruined the economy. People can't afford food and gas let alone bikes.
ОтветитьThe sport needs more B-level teams
Ответитьlol how about they drop the price of those Chinese bikes
Ответить
