Missed opportunity at 15th minute.

The Reebok deal was a gargantuan success for the UFC. The Reebok deal is so insanely sinister it isn't even funny, but it took away what little power the UFC fighters had and gave the UFC a greater monopoly over their lives/fights. The value that this has had to the UFC can't be quantified and in addition to everything the UFC now gets the lions share of sponsor money whereas before the fighters were independent contractors when it came to sponsors and the UFC didn't get a cut. This was one of the biggest wins for the UFC in UFC history and the fans gave the UFC little to no backlash for their blatant corruption against the fighters. Instead many of the fans let the UFC off the hook and blamed Reebok, whereas it was the UFC that gave Reebok sol sponsorship rights... if a business deems sponsoring something to be potentially advantageous to their business and they work something out with that business that allows them to be the sol sponsors of that organization... how is that Reeboks fault. Nothing about that is sinister on Reebok's side of the deal. I don't know what Reeboks numbers are vs their investment, but I'm guessing it's probably been a loss for Reebok. As I said, the public have blamed Reebok and Reebok wasn't known for sports and cool apparel. I theorize Reebok was hoping that this sponsorship would have turned their previous business image around. But the only point being is... even if the UFC received no funds from Reebok, it's a win on their end because it gives them more leverage over the fighters. The degree of benefit can't be quantified, but I theorize it's substantial.

If people in the position are supposed to be fairly intelligent and give good analysis, the odds of getting an all black panel without discrimination in their favor is almost zero.
