I get what you’re saying about things trending. I see things on social media that I may not see in real life. My friends or family won’t be carrying the things my people on YT are. So I can still carry a bag that I’m the only one in my circle carrying if that makes any sense. And too, if it brings you joy then you carry whatever you want! I’m glad you’re sticking with the Tabby though. It looks super good when you’re trying it on and if it carries all your necessities that sounds like a win/win. 😊

I understand what you mean about the Marc Jacobs tote bag. I had the canvas version and ended up selling it because I felt like it would throw off my entire outfit and I dress very feminine as well with skirts and dresses. Thank you for sharing! I totally agree with your sentiment and just sold mine yesterday. I wore it once. The hype around it just turned me away from the bag. Like you, I purchased mine before it hit the website and even made a video on it, but….seeing it everywhere made me tire of it, sadly. I appreciate your honesty and perhaps should share my video on why I sold mine…Ultimately, it’s just not the type of bag that suits me or my wardrobe despite how gorgeous she is.

Glad you made room for a bag that you love more! The quilted tabby is a fancy girl yet she’s functional. You can wear her up and down and it’s all a good vibe. But these dooney bags have a timeless simplicity to them.
