Honestly, Dean I still watch your E60 BMW repair videos. I am having starting issues right now. Your E60 video on startup issues has me feeling a lot better knowing you already have 5 different placed to look besides my own suspicions. Porsche is a very expensive (both time and money) brand. Albright, Porsche is a fantastic experience (when they work). I am cheering your BMW return. CHEERS!

Back to BMW Dean! Although I like Porsches I see what your video is saying. Porsche an’t BMW, & Porsche’s are very expensive to maintain compared to BMW. I also watched your video about replacement parts compared to BMW, & they are not cheap at all. For Porsche there’s not that many aftermarket part options depending on what you need, so either Porsche Genuine from the dealer, Meyle, or Febi Bilstein. So do you buy an ///M car when you can’t afford a Porsche? I’m still a Bimmer guy at heart, but 911’s are a whole different machine.

Hey doc, love the vids, i just got a quick question about the n52/n53 if its not a problem, ive been googling for about 4 days now and cant find answers to my questions, some pages & people say that both go to 200kw/272hp/268ps but i want to get an n52 if it goes up to 272 hp, is there some way to discern the n52b30 from n53b30, i saw that the 2006 330i e92s have the n52 but i found a really nice looking one from 2008, also 272 hp but in the ad it doesnt say which engine, going to import the car so i dont want the owner telling me its an n52 but it ending up being the n53 once i arrive 1000km away from home and the trip being for nothing, heard the n53 has more issues with the injectors, but id rather stay away from that as my budget can barely cover those repairs and definitely not often, especially not after buying the car, thanks!💪

Sorry to hear the hassle you've had with the Porsche parts supply and customer experience mate, I work in the HGV side of the industry ( but a serial BMW owner of many years😁👍) and have experienced the whole supply and demand situation and the manufacturers sometimes have you by the gonads as no one has supply of OEM parts apart from the dealers at ridiculous prices or dealer only parts and non in Europe etc 😞 Great to here your getting a new BM and looking forward to you being back 👍

I have a Porsche cayman s. I love it. Parts are exspensive. They allways have been .. but Porsche. Are not bmw there a better car. ..infact I have gone off bmw.s now and I have bought a Mercedes 400 e class conv premium amg line which I prefer .. I still have a 530 m sport bmw. In Spain. ..but I will not be buying another bmw soon ..
