NVIDIA's Rip-Off - RTX 4070 Ti Review & Benchmarks

Yall realise this is almost an exact equivalent to the 3090 ti right? No one is complaining about 3080ti - 3090 ti...

Gpu's man..... The language used to describe this gpu is extreme. I have not heard such extreme judgement of any other product, except ones that accidentally kill people, or something. I can't believe how much people hate gpu's.

Just got the Gigabyte Gaming OC 12G 4070ti and I didn’t realize how massive this thing was compared to my 2080. Incredible, but man it’s a powerhouse. Loving it so far

Damn real world side by side comparisons show a very different outcome. It shows the 4070ti outboxing the 3090ti in a lot of games for way less money and less power consumption

A card that performs better than a 3090ti for £740 while using almost half the power of the 3090ti? And you lot are moaning? It was only a couple years ago we were having to pay £1000+ for a 3080…

just get a 7900 for god sake, its so insanely good comparatively, NVidia is so disappointing lately.

I have one and it is awesome. Then again I was coming from a 3050 laptop.

Personally i'm happy with my 4070Ti, i needed a high-end GPU upgrade from 3060Ti but it had to be two-slots, not three. I got the Inno3D version, so two-slots. It's an epic upgrade! Almost twice the performance according to my own benchmarks, and only costing €200 more than the 3060Ti from last year.

Despite this review, I'd recommend 4070Ti as this generation's go-to card for enthusiasts.

Thanks for the expose! I live in India and 4070ti here sell well due to the astronomical prices for computer peripherals in general. It's priced around INR80k-90k or a $950-$1200 .

He didn't forget, he seen we will pay for cards when they are hard to get because of the crypto boom, but that was because there was huge uplift in performance and cards were hard to come by.

I'm upgrading from 3060. I think it's a lot of money, but.. what are you gonna do? At least Asus has a € 80 cashback now in The NL.

Upgraded from 1070 to 4070 Ti (a 2-slot model from INNO3D which is the best I can fit in my build). Undervolted it a bit to 925 mV/2640 MHz. Playing Cyberpunk 2077, GPU is consuming only 150W (!), in 4K Ultra I see 60-80 FPS in average (DLSS "performance" + frame generation). It's just incredible! I was totally not expecting such smooth framerate at such low power consumption (actually less than my old MSI 1070 Gaming X). And there IS generation change since 3000 series but it's not so much in absolute performance but rather in power efficiency at lower voltage. It becomes obvious once you undervolt. Can I get the same perf in Cyberpunk 2077 from 3090 Ti at 150 Watt? Of course not, not even close. The only downside is the price but it's the same problem with pretty much every decent GPU nowadays.

So I’m new to the gaming pc world and I’m just curious why every gpu on the market gets shit on.

As of now, the 4070 ti scores a +29% effective speed above the 3080 on userbenchmark website. So this video seems outdated at best, and misleading at worst.

Got a Zotac Gaming Trinity 4070Ti in mid January for $799. Def worth it in my opinion from the 3090ti $1950+ and scalper era of 30 series. Yeah I wish we had some more headroom in vram as i’m VR racing sim, but 12gb does the job for this price point.

What these self-centered arrogant 'reviewers' forget, which really pisses me off. . .The GPU works JUST FINE. It's MUCH better than the last generation. . it's a HELL of a lot faster than the generation before THAT, it costs about HALF of what a2080ti Founder Edition cost when it was new, and 60% of what a 3090ti costs (and it's overall BETTER), it's the 4TH!!! best card in the comparison charts, and it's AFFORDABLE., Get off your ivory pedestal and think like the working man. It works, it's less expensive, it's VERY GOOD, it doesn't break. . it's NOT AMD's over-heating junk. Get over yourselves you self-centered jerks. The 4070ti works just fine. Buy it, use it, love it.

maybe nvidia couldve made the situation better by calling it a 4070 and then also making a ti version of it

Well this didnt age well. Just bought a 4070ti and it is destroying my 3080 double the performace and in games like remnant 2 with fram gen im getting over 3 times the performace. This review was too early. With new unreal 5 games the 3 series is going to buckle hard. Remnant 2 was unplayable.on my 3080 without dlss and barely made 60 fps even with dlss

Damn, I had some money to spare and caved ordering a 4070 ti... I needed an upgrade from my trusty gtx 1080. Now I'm really second guessing my decision, because i don't really want to support Nvidia's recent course of greed and lack of respect for the customer and because the 7900xt looks like a much more interesting product after some price drops. Also the AMD drivers in terms of their feature set seem to have gotten much more mature in recent months and the 20gigs of vram look way more enticing compared to the measly 12 gigs of Nvidia, especially looking down the line.

Should I return the 4070ti and get a decent 7900xt?

4070 ti is actually a lot better than the 3080

This card performs admirably at 1440p 170hz and I couldn’t be happier with it for $799. Leaving my RTX 3060 12gb. It runs stupid cool, ultra quiet, and I don’t even feel the need to water cool it. I’m not sure what benchmarks are being looked at or how they are being skewed towards a bias to hate NVIDIA but this card trades blows with a 3090 Ti all day if not out right beating it by a healthy margin. The days of $699 flagship cards are gone and everything costs more. I think all negative press this card receives is unfounded an laughable personally. I’m glad I purchased one before the next looming GPU shortage may occur. Last time I had to settle for a 3060 12gb that got the job done with an overclock and a water block. At the end of the day NVIDIA is a public company I Peet’s nothing else from them when they try to increase their bottom line while providing me a great product.

Inflation - everyone but the end-consumers way of saying "FU - we're not gonna earn less than we did last year!" These numbers truly are insane! Do you like getting blasted in the ass? Cause nvidia is just one big ass blast.

To me, this level of « improvement » (🙄) over the previous gen GPUs, in terms of fps and tech (DLSS 3.0, etc.) means that this card is basically what should have been the logical continuation of the RTX 3060Ti. Meanwhile, it's a real shame that ScamVidia even tried to sell this as a 4080.

somebody just suggest me a gpu worth for my 21:9 screen , i'm getting headach , i don't know what to buy , i want good performance at least for 5 years i watched million vidoes but i get more confused🤐😑
