Just what I thought I needed, but this won't tie around a closed rail or tree (where you can't loop over the end). Is there a good anchor knot for the middle of the rope that unties easily after load, that will work over a closed rail? Thanks for your channel BTW - love your approach and easy-to-follow shots.

I have a portable rope winch with 100 meters of rope that i do not dare cut. This knot and your how to saves me a lot of grief when short tying a load. Thanks.
