First heard on Radio Luxembourg in December 1980. Was a strange, unreleased version of it. It was summer 1981 when it caught light and led to what i still call the 'bum-clap' era of music. It still survives now and i bet if you went to a disco in a pub or club you'd still hear it.

Cuando escucho este bello mix Stars on 45 no paro de llorar porque recuerdo a toda mi familia que en ese tiempo 1981 estaban todos vivos y eramos muy felices yo tenía 11 años y me encantaba ir a las pistas de patinaje donde esta canción era un Boom. Ahora en 2024 la música. Ya no existe. Gracias You Tube por recordarme la felicidad.
