This man feels like a family member to me. It is always the little things with him that fascinate me like cutting the ham in half so the bread edge has a straight edge of ham. Watching him alone is like Christmas Day. Watching him and Julia together was liking having two Christmas days in one.
ОтветитьHe did a video of "Grilled cheese with ham, no tomato. No crust add $1"
ОтветитьA French tsp of butter = 1/2 cu in the US 😊
ОтветитьWow! A French grilled ham and cheese. Wonder what they call a tuna melt?
ОтветитьBy the name I thought it was something elaborate. It's a simple ham and cheese sandwich! 😂😂
ОтветитьI enjoyed many a croque monsieur when I was visiting Paris and wanted an inexpensive but delicious dejeuner
ОтветитьCooking made simple. Love it. Making it tomorrow.
ОтветитьHe made a grilled cheese. Well, a baked cheese. Thats it?
ОтветитьI mean, I'd devour them scraps
Ответитьpeople called me crazy for cutting round hams in half and putting them like that on my sandwiches
ОтветитьMy favorite thing is how casually he brings up old school definitions of things, like how a croque madam was just chicken and there was no egg involved. No spite, no bitterness.
"things change"
Grilled ham and swiss... Ok
With tomato much better👍🤤
Always loved he snacks on the trimmings.
ОтветитьHe can make any dish seem more elegant than it even realized it was 😀 Toasted ham and cheese in the oven… yummm. ( and not as messy!) Pepin style. Presenting The Croque Monsieur ❤️❤️❤️
Ответить4 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER, NOW WE'RE TALKING
Ответить😋😋
ОтветитьMade this today with homemade sandwich bread. Slathered that thing with butter on both sides but it didn’t brown as much as Jacque’s did, even after 20 minutes in the oven. Tried a panini press afterwards and while it came it out great I was not able to replicate the crispyness of Jacques sandwich.
Anyone else have any idea what Jacques did to his crocque monsieur?
that man knows how to cook. Are you single or married? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
ОтветитьCroque-monsieur pour amerlok, on fait mieux maintenant !
ОтветитьI've never even thought of making a grilled cheese in the oven.
Ответитьno bechamel, no egg?
ОтветитьOne slice of bread (can use a toast but real bread tastes better), on this fresh sliced tomato, on this garlic powder, on this 2-3 slices of ham, on this 3-4 slices thin sliced cheese (I use not smoked Parenica, but 30% Eidam is good too) on the top a little bit of grill seasoning, Than put it in to the oven or microwave till the cheese is molten. Not big cooking, but really good tasty meal in 5 minutes. Have been doing it since my 14-15, and I love it now too :-). The garlic is essential (powder or crushed or just cutted one, does not matter).
ОтветитьA fart in your direction générale
ОтветитьToasted Ham and Cheese Sandwich: 🤠
Croque Monsieur: 🧐
Ok so it's grilled ham and cheese that you butter and put into an oven😂
Ответитьive been making shit like this when i was 9 years old just saying xD
ОтветитьThis isnt the traditional street food version of croque monsieur at all :/
ОтветитьI’ve never seen anything browned so perfectly and evenly
ОтветитьNo offense to who he is or his cooking but this was just a video of an old man breathing and eating for 4 mins. Could of adjusted the audio or moved the mic when recording so it wasn't so loud.
ОтветитьI'd personally recommand trying the bechamel version, this one is a bit dry to my taste !
ОтветитьHey Chef , where is the bechamel sauce?
ОтветитьNo sauce béchamel? I thought croque monsieur would take some.
Ответитьbread was never meant to be triangular
Ответитьdid he flip the sandwich in the oven, or was it always on one side?
ОтветитьThis is just a grilled ham and cheese sandwich
ОтветитьThe lip smacking makes me want to die
ОтветитьExcelente!
Ответитьwhere is the bechamel?
ОтветитьJacques forgot that in France the classic Croque Monsieur contains a shot of peppered béchamel inside and it’s so delicious.
ОтветитьThis guy just likes to say “croque-monsieur”
ОтветитьNice sandwiches topped with spit & drool sauce.
Ответить👏👏🍻👏
ОтветитьCan you bake brioche buns that way ? I tried for the same time period 350F for 12 minutes and they didn’t brown like that. Had them turned so that the inside was turned up in the oven.
ОтветитьHero
ОтветитьWhere’s the bechamel? 😢
Ответитьtats Grilled Cheese n Ham Sandwich...a famous menu item in a Shangri-La i used to work,in 1997...
