Appreciate it Sir!😁
ОтветитьSweetness Thanks Man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI thought it was not possible to use a DAW in a virtual machine set up. What is your set up, Mike?
ОтветитьCrystal vocals
ОтветитьHoly crap! You just solved 3 problems that have been plaguing me for a month.
ОтветитьLearning quite a lot from your videos! Thanks for all you're doing!
Ответитьgreat video! thank you!
ОтветитьI tried the VX-64 voice plugin on horns. Works really good especially if there are different horn parts.
Really appreciate your videos
Always loved these plugs!
ОтветитьWhat about "concrete limiter"?
ОтветитьHi Mike! Thats so good! One question please. I don´t know what to do. I opened the SI-Drumkit and let it run together with my audio recordings. But when i open a plugin for instance the breverb during the running session the drum disappears and is not to be heared anymore even so with other Plugins ... only one appears. Is this a bug or how can it be done to open more than one plugin? Your tutorials are really great!! i begun with Sonar 4 over X2 but now i am so happy this all is now much easier.
Ответитьso the most useful plugins are disabled by default. thank you for this. very thank you. i would never, and why would i, have found those. 🍌
ОтветитьA quick question - the de-esser, from what I understand, is basically a specialized EQ. If you use it at the beginning of the chain, and then add those frequencies back in later with the EQ, doesn't that defeat it? If so, is there a way to avoid this, such as keeping away from whatever frequencies the de-esser is working with as you boost the higher end?
Thanks!
Dude
ОтветитьThank you very much! Really useful and secret information!
ОтветитьDon't get me wrong. I appreciate your videos and learn a lot but when I go to "insert audio effects" there is no uncategorized.
ОтветитьMay i ask song name in the video? Vocal and Piano are so smooth and comfortable. I want to hear the full song.
Ответитьthanx
ОтветитьI have never gotten more out of a video. Fantastic, thank you SO MUCH!!!
Ответитьsomething wrong with my ears , never noticed any differences
ОтветитьListening to this video ou can not help falling for your singer. I think she must be a lovely person, Your song also is full of love. Love it, wish I could hear it all the way.
ОтветитьYou could call this sample song if you decide to finish it "It's Complicated",
ОтветитьGood lesson. Thank you.
ОтветитьSuch a good explanation of that plugin that I discovered thanx to you !
Playing around with it, my opinion is that too much compression will bring up all the unpleasant mouth noises. And the expander can help cut all the small sounds (like the breathing, the slight computer rumbling, or other very low db sound sources). They are to be used softly, because the voice can become very well filtered of "unpleasantness", but by doing so become completely unatural.
I have the utmost difficulty to remove the muddiness from my voice without sounding like a tincan.
Still playing around.
Thank you ! You do very high quality content.
Thank you for your guidance good sir.
ОтветитьOhhhh that was very very very helpful. Thank you so much!!
ОтветитьHey Mike quick question about the vx 64 vocal strip. Since it has a built in compressor and equalizer would it be necessary to use a separate compressor or equalizer either before or after it in the chain? Or do you basically only need to use the vocal strip alone? I know the answer might be based on your needs but what is your take on this. Thanks.
ОтветитьAwesome! Thanks! :)
Ответитьnice info...thanks brother..
ОтветитьThank you again, master Mike! Lot of things I have learnt from you!
ОтветитьNo such thing as a real or unreal song. A song is a song 😊 But I'm guessing what you meant was that it's not a finished song, which at the moment isn't intended/planned to be released 😋
Great info about the hidden plugins btw. Thanks a lot 😄
I at the tail end of mastering a song and that drum strip is making think about going back and tweaking the drums.
Ответитьusing the vx 64 vocal strip it makes a clicking noise on the headphones and wont play any audio. I have 7 tracks with the same effects and it only doesnt work on 2 or just different tracks in general. When I turn the effect off itll play fine. But it works on all the other tracks fine. Anybody know why it does this?
ОтветитьMan, I'm glad I have an older purchased version of Professional that has all the Nomad stuff. Love the oilcan delay...
Ответитьwas your channel name randomly generated like Vsauce?
Ответитьwowww.. I 've been using CAkewalk for almost 3 years and I just knew that Thouse are something like that.... thank you for your valuable infos.. your are my Cakewalk Encyclopedia now.. 😁👍👍👍🙏☝☝
ОтветитьUre a natural teacher. Keep it up mate

ОтветитьTotally agree great content delivered in an upbeat and friendly manner. Well Done.
Any chance of Aplitube, Tonebridge and Bias FX shootout comparison?
Superb training Mike. You are an incredible teacher and a benefit to the art. You teach with a great easy to follow tempo. Cheers.

ОтветитьCakewalk is a fantastic DAW and it's jam-packed with very cool and usable VST plugins and tweakable GUI stuff.
And it's free~!!!
REAPER is my main DAW and has been for 10 years but I also dabble with Presonus Studio One and Steinberg Cuebase. REAPER and CAKEWALK are my faves.
