curious what other shoes are on your short list for the Trans rock? Also curious if you have ever tried LA sportiva Akasha and how it compares to this shoe.

and finally, Q of the day: I prefer a less expensive shoes cause I have a shoe problem :) and like to always try and buy new things. Hardly ever running a shoe into the ground.

I've noticed that stickiness in my old Sense Pros (v1 so likely the old Contragrip). It's pretty crazy when new, but it wears off after 50mi or so and you're left with just some normal outsole rubber.
Also, in regards to wear, I've found the Sense Pro hold up really well for 400mi or so but its minimal cushioning is pounded out well before then so it's hard to get tons of miles out of them.

Can anyone compare the toebox of the Peregrine 5 to the wings or to Salomon in general? Thank you! (I don't have wide feet but pointy shoes give me blisters between the big and the middle toes and I would like to try out Salomon's cotragrip rubber.) Thanks :)

Any chance you'll have the S-Lab Wings 8 for review soon? I had the opportunity to give them a short go in March and it was nothing short of fantastic. Thanks.
