ОтветитьCOLD HARD TRUTHS!!! OUCH
ОтветитьI'm recently retired (High School Administrator/Teacher) and am looking into getting my Real Estate License (next leg of my journey). I need to know what the success rate is with more 'mature' people entering the industry. Regarding the 5 reasons NOT to do it - I am none of those. My motivation is not to become a millionaire, rather it is to do something completely different. I would appreciate some input here.
ОтветитьLooks like I'm late to the party. Been intersted for decades. I'm Blue Collar w a side hustle & my body wants no more of it! Great video.
ОтветитьHello Im Ashley from Alabama.
I found your channel by pure chance when I was looking up some advice on becoming a real estate agent. Looking up pros and cons and trying to see if this is something I should really consider.
The thing is, Im no spring chicken. Im 36 years old and I have herniated discs in my back and some scoliosis and arthritis.
And in the past Ive worked fastfood or consigment shops or in grocery stores as a cashier or worked in western union or did odd jobs on the side like cleaning etc.
But my doctor and Chiropractor say I should not do anything physically demanding that aggravtes my back.
I need to find a different career path that suits me physically and mentally.
Im not suuppse to just stand up or sit down for long periods without taking a break from either one and getting up and stretching. So a flexible job where I can sit or stand as needee would be great. Honestly Im suppose to avoid sitting down for long periods because it puts pressure on my herniated discs.
Im not suppose to lift heavy object heavier than 10lbs either.
Honestly I hated working in fast food and I hated working in a grocery store having to deal with in your face constant customer services.
Of course it would be great to see what potential career paths are available for someone like me that are not physicially demanding and are not so overly stressful.
But even though I didnt like the stress of dealing with 100s of different pwople a day in customer service, I did my job very well regardless and was friendly and a good worker.
So honestly whatever stress level one must face in real estate may or may not be as great as what you will face all the time in a grocery store when yoir a cashier etc. Atleast perhaps you might be good at being a real estate agent and get paid more in time as you learn from others and grow.
I dont mind having a carwer coach and aomeone who knows the buisness and telling me what to do. So Id actually appreciate somebody there ro guide me along the way.
I am responsible and do my best in whatever I do. Im not lazy. But I worry about my lack of knowlwege that it takes ro even become a real estate agent and how hard will it be to learn those skills.
Ive enrolled in GED classes so I can gwt my ged and hopefully have more doors of opportunity opened too me.
My teacher is also signing me up to a work keys act program.
She understands my limitations and is goong to try to help me gain some new work skills.
I told her I would love to have more work skills and knowledge qith the computer.
Im an 80s baby and I literally grew up wothout any internet at all. I was in my 20s when I first got the internet. And since then, Ive learned some things on my own but I am no tech wizard at all.
There is alot I dont know. And I want to learn so that way I can have more skills for more job opportunities.
I dont know what career path to look towards and whether or not I am college worthy.
I have a form of Dyscalculia which is a leadning disability with math. But Im not as bad off as others.
I can handle basic math. But Ive forgotten all algebra and geometry whoch is what Im having to study in ged classes.
I do not want to go onto a career that means challenging math. And when I say challenging i mesn algebra, geometry and calculas.
Ive never even studied calculas.
I was in home schooling for 3 years when I took my ged when I was 16 and I failed the math test but past the others.
All of my family I was closest to since birth has passed away.
All i have Im closest too is my husband and his mother. I have his full support in going back to school and findibg a new career path. I married him as a teenager and in many ways I never had to take care of myself in all thinhs.
My late mother or my husband always did the hard complicated stuff for me. But my husband is 7 years older than me. Whats going to happen to me if he or his mother is not there one day?
I worry for my future. So I want to learn the necessary skills I should of already known. Plus find a career path woth a good salary for someone who lives in Alabama.
Im willing to do what I can to be the best at whatever I do. I just dont know if I have what it takes to be a real estate agent because I dont know alot about it. And I dont know if I would be good enough.
Im trying to grow and learn and have more faith in myself.
Do you have any suggestions for me on real estate or any other career path?
I am curious though, since a guarenteed weekly monthly pay check may not come arpund at first for real estate agents, how can they manage to do this and perhaps have another job on the side so they have some promised income coming in?
What would be a potential side job for them to do to make sure money is always coming in during the times yout having be patient and a paycheck to come in? Is it possible to be a real estate agent plus have anotber job on the side and still be a good real estate agent and continue to grow?
These five rules apply to almost every business endeavor.
Ответитьim lazy, im a quitter i quit my jobs, college, and i need a support team, also real estate is probably not my forte.
ОтветитьI need a mentorship or someone to work for as an intern.
ОтветитьI just started my course bout 2 weeks ago & I’ve never felt more empowered to do something, I’m so ready for this journey!
ОтветитьGreat video. And I agree with this.
ОтветитьClick bait
ОтветитьWhy someday I would love buy my first house
ОтветитьI do not want be become estate agent but I am interested in estate in general I like know how it works
ОтветитьI am a 17 year old teenager doing matric. I also want to be a real estate agent but I don't have connections and I don't know what to do for nextyear
ОтветитьI bought the classes years ago when I was in college but I didn’t prioritize them. Now that I’ve graduated I’m ready to focus on getting my license
ОтветитьI’m a hardcore quiter, not cause i give up, but i get bored easily and want to move onto the next thing 😅
Ответить" Go get a REAL job." LOL.
Ответить2 weeks n a half so far. Eager to start working in an agency next week
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьDon’t become a real estate agent if you aren’t a good LIAR 🤥
ОтветитьBeen a real estate investment business owner for five years in 26 now back in college getting my license and then degree in real estate
Ответитьkeep me updated
ОтветитьI been in business for 30 years brah. Don't be a DYI'er but number 5 is have to be self motivated? That's a big contradiction. This dudes basic as F and not very knowledgeable. Probably why he's teaching 😂
ОтветитьI’m just starting today my first interview. I always wanted to become a real state, and now I got my turn. Hope everything will be ok and I start the process. It’s a long way and I never give up till I get what I love and want.
Ответитьbro just said the same vague thing 5 times but worded it slightly differently each time
ОтветитьBOYCOTT Keller Williams Realtor. Your company sucks! You fired Eric in Maui, Hawaii for standing up for Lahaina .
Ответитьthat just got me Fired The F Up
ОтветитьI have recently started thinking about getting into real estate. I have a coworker who is pushing me to get into it and he has been in the business for about 5 years. I have done sales but see some qualities on this list that match me - lazy, diyer. Even as I write this I think, but I am willing to “give it a try” So maybe this isn’t the right path for me. But I am patient and self motivated, and so I think I may be able to overcome my faults. And if I am able to find the right mentor and listen, I think that would help me overcome those qualities and persevere.
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьGetting my license soon! Im commited now, when i wasnt before because i was doubtful
ОтветитьGreat video but I might have a problem with rule nr 3😂
ОтветитьLove this great video
Ответитьneeded this !! thank youuu
