So help me, If you get your instrument rating before I do... :P
ОтветитьAnother great lesson. Mistakes are made. Great recovery
ОтветитьI can relate! I'm turning 50 in May, got my PPL a year ago, bought into a Cardinal 177 (based at Y70 in Michigan) and working on my instrument rating. My brain is thoroughly saturated with the radios. One thing that has been helpful for me is sim flying on the computer with PilotEdge, which simulates ATC with real people. At the very least it's built up some radio muscle memory before doing the real thing. Keep up the great videos!
ОтветитьDid you intend to narrate on top of your CFII talking while there was radio traffic? I like it. It really emphasized how busy it gets!
ОтветитьSpeaking as a newbie to this - is it advisable to acknowledge ATC directions before committing to them? That would give ATC the opportunity to correct, if misunderstood, no? I could see where a busy area with similar plane numbers would probably require some requests for confirmation of directions. Great work on the vids.
Ответить"that was not very good" -instructor Another really good video and a good lesson learned. This one makes me nervous.
ОтветитьWow, that was a huge amount of comma, great job reacting. Thanks for the eye popping insight.
Merry CHRISTMAS
I want to be a pilot, but this is stressing me out lol
