Matt’s is good but Texas bbq is all about BOTTO’S BBQ. Legit Texas bbq don’t need the sauce legit sides. Beans, and New Branfaul Stew is great. If you come back to Portland must try BOTTO’S

Grasslands BBQ is a must visit in Oregon for BBQ, but its out in hood river.

First spot I thought the brisket looked crumbly and dry from being a tad overcooked. Rib looked the same.

Absolutely good spot and very friendly staff. I always get two Dino ribs yum 😋 and 1-2lbs of brisket and burnt ends and Mac.
